I'm actually in a very good mood. I didn't mention that I went to the big "Bears on the Run" bash last night. There were 5 excellent Bear type musicians, and a crowd of big, husky, hot men. That was great. Then I came home and logged on to my computer.

I went snorkeling last week in Mexico. From the surface the water looked clear, but after jumping in we discovered that there were millions - perhaps billions - of tiny little jellyfish that didn't really sting but could be felt on the face and lips. I got out of the water looking like one of those poor models with the botoxed fish lips.

Need help. Made meatballs. Have no spag sauce. No tomato sauce, paste....
Can anyone think of a sauce I can make w/o tomato or dairy based ingredients? Sunday and do not feel like going to the store.

Got any sour cream? You can brown some onions, add the meatballs, and swirl in the sour cream and make meatballs Stroganoff. Serve with nice buttered noodles and maybe some green beans.

Nope. No dairy products either. Thinking about about something pineapple based. Or homemade bbq sauce.

While pasta is traditional here now (the Boston Marathon is tomorrow!) meatballs made fresh are also great with baked molasses beans. If you have cooked your meatballs already, your best bet is to freeze them until you can make/buy your spaghetti sauce, to soften them up in. If you have not cooked them yet, and must have pasta to feed a crowd, there is always mac'n cheese, but that is a very heavy fatty meal.
I use lots of bread and spice in my meatballs and so they are crisp fried on the outside and very soft inside, not the solid little meat boulders I get in restaurants. Being lazy, and not inclined to add even more carbs to the meal, I usually just roll them in olive oil, set them in the fridge and fry them up right before serving and heat up a can of brown baked beans, served in a separate small bowl as I do with codfishcakes.

The women to watch are last years champion Gete Wami of Ethiopia, Irina Mikitenko of Germany and Zhou Chunxiu of China.

What I am doing wrong is making meatballs w/o checking what I can smother them w/ when they're done.

I was thinking of taking them to our little bar and feeding the masses. I usually do a stroganoff sauce or marinara.

Yes, parmesan is in the meatballs. So basically, I am screwed.

OK...... let's think ....make a little lite sauce of ketchup......No lie..... it'll do.
Water it down with some beef broth and cook it down.....Add basil and garlic.
Or even water & olive oil.
Or the gravy master.......You don't have any of those brown gravy powdered packets???
Actually even cream mushroom soup
would do with water.
I mean come on ..........we can do this.
