I love when I get a haircut, and look kinda "military" for a while... ...

Ok my fellow inmates... ...In like the next 10 days, things are gonna get really wierd for me...My Parental units will return to their "domicile"...I will again assume the roll of (subserviant) "dutiful" son...I won't be as free(or have as much time) to post...We have discussed the fact that I'm a "care giver" before...
And since said "Parental Units" will be selling said domicile...I'm gonna have to move out..."gulp"...(at my advanced age-look at my name do the math)
Good thing I like dim light...'cause I'm lookin' at oil lamps to help cut down my future electric bills...
I've got a "bead" on a couple of very low income rental units...Close enough to work that I would almost eliminate transportation costs...
I'm going to have to eliminate my whole "entertainment" budget...(that includes the internet)...At least for a while...
Thing is I KNOW I suffer from PPS...So please those of you who do; please pray for me; the rest of you please think well of me ok?... ...

My daughter is also a nurse, so I hear the stories. Anything the govt attemps to run gets messed up, so it definately needs to be privatized.
But it really is needed. Maybe we could forgive student loans if Dr/RNs agree to work for 5 years.

Want to let you know that your testimony to KK was very nice.... not pushy,not preachey....just compassionate and honest. That is what faith is all about. If I did not have my brothers and sisters in Christ as a support group I don't know what I would do a lot of the time.

Don't know either..Any Doctors or Nurses on the board? that know the answer, but you know Ford, it just not low income, many middle income don't have the money at today's prices. It's a combination knee/muscle?tendon? - behind the knee injury. I did use ice this morning and when the ice was gone I used frozen hamburger packages from our freezer chest this afternoon. I am also using 800mg motrin left over from a previous injury suffered last labor day - fell off ladder and broke wrist.

I was looking to get some exercise via bike riding. I got my son's 12 speed out of storage and cleaned it up. His bike has pedals with toe clips and leather straps. The problem was he wears a shoe 3 sizes larger than mine. When I came to a stop, I couldn't get my feet out of the toe clips and fell on my knee while twisting my leg as my foot was still trapped on the pedal.

Only time I got "buzzed " was a contact high at a Ten Years After show at the Forum in Inglewood , CA. I was sitting in the front row of the loge section next to the stage. Alvin Lee was passing doobies back and forth with the audience while playing. Talk about rock and roll!!!! I was so loopy as I left I knew I was going to get busted. The feeling just didnt work for me.

If you still cant lift it after iceing and resting while taking Motrin in another day you might want to consider getting it checked professionally. A fall while twisting is a recipe for ligament damage... especially if you feel the pain behind the knee. You can try alternating heat and ice... the ice will reduce swelling .. the heat will loosen up the joint.

Yes, a cast iron skillet is essential for bacon, and I would add that the heat has to be very low. You can't rush bacon. And this way, you don't even have to turn it.
Don't shoot me, but bacon should be a flavoring, not a main ingredient.

Actually 1 and 2 are a toss up.... Plant and Krauss are getting all sorts of critical acclaim for the collaboration they have ... but I would kill to see Santana again.

There are programs that education and medical students can participate in that pays for their tuition if they serve so many years in areas deprived of services or there is very high poverty. The problem is that so many of the medicos were skipping out after a few years and refusing to pay the government back. Each one has to be taken to court at a huge cost. I think there should be more programs like this, but they have to be picky on who they allow in the program.

In Kristy's defense I have to say that a death of someone in your family gives you the right to remember them for a year, for a couple of years, for the rest of your life mind you! And it's a way to mourn that loved one! So mourn away Kristy.

I feel her pain, for I have lost a parent too and has been a few years but it feels like it was yesterday.
I guess you have to experience that if you want to be sensitive of someone's feelings huh? But then again, I have to say that even if you still have your parents bless you, but remember how to pick and choose your words around those of us who have.
Even losing a loved family pet makes you mourn EVERY DAY not just a little while.

So if martyrdom is for Kristy, then let it be. It's her way of showing respect.

We have our moments and our "internet persona" but we also remember how to not hurt someone's feelings.

As if I don't have an active enough imagination, LOL, do I dare ask?
