The History Channel, runs it every so often...My fave of course was the kid who played Boonie(Brian something or other)...Ned Vaughn, is also a hottie that was in a few epis(never's had a major movie roll[don't know about live theater]always bit parts; Apollo 13, Tuskeegee Airmen, and a few others)...But a true hottie... tongue.gif ...
Too bad when the show ran, America, wasn't quite ready for a "realistic" show about Vietnam...It ran for what 2 seasons, if that...

China Beach was a big fave of mine. Dana Delaney rocked, but Marg Helgenberg did something to me. Had I been a straight man I think I would have had her babies.

Watching "300" again! Didn't make it at the theatre, but took me back to my childhood! I remember getting up early to watch Hercules and other gladiator type movies; this took me back! Some great BODIES in there! Anyone watch the videos on YouTube describing how they got so chiseled? Loved the way it was filmed; slow motion, blood splatter, costuming! It really took me back! HOT!!!!

I need to buy the DVD, so I can watch it in the privacy of my own home. I was salivating at all the meat on the screen in the theatre with a father and his son sitting behind me the whole time. My legs were crossed a lot! blush.gif

Bear, I think I read where you need to go low carb/low sugar. My doctor put me on that 2 yrs ago. I tried all the low stuff and ended up with constant runs due to the molitol or ambitol anything artificial that ends in tol. Word of the wise, learn to eat one cookie instead of more. You'll enjoy it much more than the substuted stuff. Also, Aunt Millies makes a light potato bread that tastes really good and nets out at 13 carbs for 2 slices. Don't know what your dr put you on, but I'm on 30 carbs for a snack and 60 carbs for a meal. So you can actually have a meat sandwich and 17 dorito chips and a diet pop or water and stay around the 30 mark. Hope this helps, if you have any questions pm me.

Anyone see any futher details about the Top Chef Truck Tour? Wondering if there are dates announced yet.

I might be wrong, but I think you and Bear are talking about two totally different kinds of meat. Or, I'm just a big ol' perv. laugh.gif

FTR, I've been a low carber for some time now and have lost 50 lbs. I still have 30 to go (and let me tell you, they are the slowest moving 30 mad.gif ). From my experience, Frankenfoods and anything ending in -itol, will cause havoc on your inards.

...what do the dashed lines mean under some posters' names where they are listed as online? Most of our usernames have a solid line underneath. But occasionally, I see a dashed line under some.

It's really Frenchin' my toast not being able to figure this out.

Sigh ..... had to stop by for a little sanity! I must confess I read everything on these boards...folks I agree with and folks I don't, but I have a really hard time with some of the stuff that is spewed all over our playground towards the end of the season. I really don't want to have to wear the full body condom when I come out to play!

There are probably many wonderful new people joining but it's kinda hard to figure out who they are right now. So while I settle in with a couple of beers and jump back and forth I just wanted to tell ya'll I love playing here.
