Well you can see some of my recent work on YouTube I have 2 at the moment Reciprocity I'm the the guy with the Gun...lol and Jack and The Dead Girl I play the senator I'm the guy with the beard and have the John Travolta Hair cut from Pulp Fiction... lol There are 6 scenes from that movie I think I'm in 4... check it out if ya want.

For the role of Phil in 12 Rounds I play a plumber and look like an old Hippie.... Have to go too a costume fitting in the morning getting nervous as usual.... unsure.gif

But still after all of these years it is still fun to get payed to play... rolleyes.gif

It's important, I think, to love what you do, but not many get paid to play. For that I'm envious happy.gif
Hippie plumber. Hmmmm... tell 'em as such you prefer weed to "crack" laugh.gif
Thanks for the youtube link-lings. I will definitely check them out!

You know it is funny being an actor and getting paid to play but the thing is I don't take myself that seriously in this field but I just got the greatest compliment... I called Shannon one of the costume peeps because she called yesterday and asked if I would come for a fitting on wed.

I said yes ofcourse and she said she would send a map to my e-mail. Well as of today I have not recieved it so I called to make sure we were still on for Wed.

She said she would send it today not to worry I thanked her and said I know y'all are busy and my part is really minor... she paused and said not to me it isn't.....Just reminds me of that old saying there are NO small parts only Small Actors.... lol

Still it was such a nice thing for her to say I blushed... blush.gif

Just watched the clip where the couple was trying to decide by rock, paper, scissors and then by drawing straws. OMG! I was laughing! I know they were deciding something serious but... drawing straws?? LMAO! You scared me! Good job! Was it too much insult to injury to be shot after having a heart attack? biggrin.gif Forgive me if I had the wrong reaction. I truly enjoyed it!

Your character reminded me of Michael Madsen in Resevoir Dogs. A cruel kind of humor. I was loving it. Bravo, sweets!

OK. I need some help. I won't be so stupidly brash as our jerk of a couple days ago that posted its statement and then sat back to observe the responses for its Sociology report. I need answers to 2 questions for my Statistics project. Don't answer if you don't want to. No names will be included in the paper... just responses. For those who have already responded I truly appreciate it. If I get an "A" I will share it with the board. Drinks all around!

1) How many times per month do you shop for groceries?

We go probably an average of twice a week.

2) At checkout... do you prefer the conventional lanes, express lanes, or the self check out lanes?

Convential lanes 99% of the time but never self check out. My dad is a retired coal miner and when we were little,we picketed Wal Mart and other non union stores when they came around. We were not allowed to shop any place that wasnt union. Now,there is pretty much no such thing as unions and the ones that do exsist are company run. Company run union, oxymoron defined. But my dad refuses to use the self help lane because he says it puts a working man out of a job, albeit a crappy, low paying suckfest of a job,I worked there for 3 months once, its a job. He also will not use the automated systems on phones. He always gets a real person. We all respect my dad and just kinda follow his lead.

My other alternative was to do this in a mall and I hate being accosted by them when I shop. Please, forgive the intrusion but thanks so much for the help! smile.gif

Sorry I got all verbose, hope it helped.

Uncles worked in the mines and drove the trucks cross road. Very pro-union family. Unions are one of the reasons Wal-Marts in NJ don't have a grocery store... butcher's unions.

1. I do a lot of organic and fresh produce shopping, so I end up going maybe 2-3 times a week to find what's freshest and in season. Overall I'd say 8-12 times a month.

2. I use the express lane when I have 10 items or less, but regardless, I prefer the conventional lanes. We don't have a lot of self checkout here, period, and to be honest, I've never been to a "grocery" store here that had the option of self check out.

1. I stop at the store pretty much every day and buy what I need for that day.

2. I use the express lane since it's so little. They don't have self check out lanes in Publix - but I'd use them if they did!

1) How many times per month do you shop for groceries? I go to a grocers once a week and the butchers twice, and twice for vegetables and fruit usually at a Greek market and the bakery next to it sometimes. I go other places in season or for individual or special occasion items like coffee, chocolate, ice cream, bagels, deli cole slaw, or spices. When I'm lazy, I get things delivered. So, strictly for grocery, say 5x a month.

2) At checkout... do you prefer the conventional lanes, express lanes, or the self check out lanes?
Always conventional counters. I don't do big grocery stores where I can't see the windows or doors from the back.

When we lived In New York, and Drew was in law school, I worked two jobs, and one of them was as a cashier at a Grocery store.

I was one of those chatty cashiers, and, once, the floor person told me I was talking too much. I told the customers that day that I wasn't allowed to talk to them, they went to the GM, and I was called in to be told that I could talk as much as I wanted, as long as the customers continued giving me praise.

I'm sure it's a shock to youse folks that I talked that much, eh?

Nah...I have the same "affliction"...My customers love it(I know more about plants, design, and landscaping, than ANY of my co-workers)most of them know it...It's not a source of strife...Why'd think they hired me...(really I'm NOT bragging)...It's a fact...(hey I don't mind being a "big" fish, in a "small" pond)...

2) At checkout... do you prefer the conventional lanes, express lanes, or the self check out lanes?

My other alternative was to do this in a mall and I hate being accosted by them when I shop. Please, forgive the intrusion but thanks so much for the help! smile.gif

Hope this helps...If you still need it...I get paid every 2 weeks...So I generally shop for food about twice a month...Thank God, for freezers...Roasts, are my life savers; I can get like a week out of a 3LB, roast...
Check-out, depends on which store...But at Fare-Way, depending on how many items I have; I look for either the cashier I know, or the one with the cutest bagger...

Ok if Dave, and Stephen, showed up "smashed"(and I don't doubt it) then Chef Tom,(if he knew it) had an obligation to tell the other judges; and if he didn't "shame" on him...I never had any respect for Stephen, but if I ever respected Dave, I lost it upon learning that...Any WHY did the producers allow such behaviour...Shame on you Bravo...
