ok i just want to say i am a HUGE fan of the show! have watched all of the seasons.. but there is just one thing really bothering me about it... when Padma tastes the food.. she always comments on it while she has her mouth full! I personally cant stand that... I adore her and what she says about the dishes, but I am honestly discusted with how she always comments with her mouth full and mid chew.. does this bother anyone else? or am i just really anal about that?

I never really had a problem with him until Robinhood Prince of Theives (which I love, in spite of him - Alan Rickman ). He doesn't even attempt an accent! I have had directors who were of the ilk that either everyone did the accent properly or NO ONE did it at all. Maybe his "star power" exempted him from this.

We finally have a beautiful spring day in Michigan---got all the windows open. I made some macaroni salad and am gonna grill up some tube steaks and burgers. I know it's humble and pedestrian but it's what I have in the house and it'll be good.

The ground is still too wet to work much outside but the bright sunshine and warm breezes have me so anxious to be planting some tomatoes and peppers. Sigh----still another 6 weeks before that can happen. But the birds are singing, daffodils are finally blooming and I got Tube Steaks!! Life is good.

Benicio Del Torro is a good actor but I can't stand to watch him! He always looks drunk and dirty (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Especially in "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". What a trip. Pun intended.

I must admit that I would not turn down being the "protein" in a Costner/Reeves sandwich (as long as Nikki doesn't prepare it). But "acting ability"?? No Thank You.

Keanu was decent in Parenthood (one of my favs.) and fit the part in The Matrix. Costner has been in some good movies - through no "fault" of his own. IMHO, neither are actors - stars, but not actors.

Mark's station was dirty, not Mark's person. He does bathe as in the bubblebath scene. I gather that he doesn't get out much - he's not familiar with many movies and has had little or no experience with grilling. It was shown that he spilled some of his food all over the grill which contributed to the mess that was his station. His sloppiness turned off the people sampling the food and the judges, and made a mess for production to clean up afterwards. I would hope the Mark's messiness in this challenge was a one-time occurrence.
