OK..
Michelle Camaya did have some cute moves in last weeks freestyle. Tonight she did well to stay in character in the elimination challenge til the very last moment. It was memorable enough to replace James in my top 4.. to take a small role and stand out like that..

We lost James Alsop from the competition tonight. He was a strong dancer but unfortunately it only takes one weak performance if a dancer gets sorted into the elimination team. But he's 23 years young and beautiful as he says.. and I'm sure he will follow another path to his goals. And if this show becomes as popular as Project Runway, and it has that potential, he will be forever young and beautiful on my DVD!

My other fave Janelle had a rough time of it, but I'm sure she will rally. But for the first time she looked her age, 18, to me, which just endeared her to me more. She is a workhorse and has the right attitude to endure and prevail, unlike Oscar who, despite his win, seems insecure like Jessica and Tovah.

Cody was right to direct the choreography of his group because of the time limitation. Someone had to come up with an idea fast! Nick lost some respect from me for complaining about Cody's lead role. Nick had plenty of room to shine, and did so.

Poor Miguel. As the judge commented, he needs to focus. I'm sorry, but he needs to shave and restyle his hair also. Miguel has exotic looks to begin with, he should make the most of his beautiful eyes and not distract with being over-styled, and that goes for clothes and mannerisms also. Tone it down, calm it down, meditate, medicate if necessary, and focus! cool.gif

My new top four are Cody, Janelle, Michelle, Nick!

I really think that Vincent should be ashamed of himself for telling Tovah that she should enter herself in "Americas Next Top Model." Have a little more respect for the woman and realize that being pretty isn't a skill. More importantly, Tovah chose to be a dancer and probably isn't content to sit around and simply be attractive all of her life. That really made you look shallow, Vincent. (P.S. Tovah.....Girl you keep up the good work and make him regret he ever questioned your passion or ability!)

Ok So I'm a bit behind on my commenting. Last time I mentioned that the judges needed to "step it up."

In this challenge (a Posh Dance) the producers needed to be sent home. Firstly, the French are known as crafting from the exterior (applique) and not the interior. No dancer should have been sent home after Madame de posh asked them "who are you?" That is not the test of a good dancer or actor. One must begin by asking: "What do you feel?" Then, a dancer or actor creates from his/her interior feelings, not from a concept of who s/he thinks s/he is.

Mlle. Chimmy, the side-kick of Mdem que save rein, (that is French for Woman who knows nothing) said the most offensive comment I have seen on reality t.v. in a while--that one of the dancers is to feminine to be playing a man. Duh, how many dancers/actors/designers are gay? How many straight men play gay and then win an academy award? Someone should have told her she is too fat to be a dancer! Rude, French, [expletive deleted]!

O.K, now judges, Vincent, Nancy, Elizabeth, comments for you:

Vincent, I don't care if you like boyz, men, Giraffes or Elephants, stop using the word "honey." Otherwise, your comments are dead on.

Nancy, make us Irish folks proud. Be more specific in your comments. Don't just tell the dancers what they are NOT doing, tell them how to improve. Don't say, you have to "butch it up." Say: "you have to hit your marks solidly and strongly and show us your inner strength. That will come through when you believe in your character and in the power of your character. Know your intention in every scene you play."

Elizabeth, could you please be more beautiful, gracious, and articulate? Oh wait, that wouldn't be possible as you are doing an incredible job as a hostess! Now we just want to see you dance!

Jerry, I saw you recently in public and I can only say, you are as handsome and poised as any dancer I've ever seen. When is the book coming out: "How to be a Broadway success story in 3 easy steps?"

If you're referring to the song that was playing when they were being taught the choreogrpahy then it's the remix of "Move Shake Drop" by DJ Laz. The remix has the music from Benny Benassi's "Satisfaction"

I downloaded it, I loved it when I heard it

Now if anyone can tell me what song is playing when they actually battle that would be great. It's like "Don't be scared, make your move, make your move, make your move." I've tried googling it but nothing comes up
