RIP B&B's Worst Food Theory.

Stephanies food was "OFFPUTTING!!!!!!!!"

AND SHE STAYED!!!!!!!!

LMAO this show is such a joke.

I'm wondering, too. All of the judges had suggestions for making Mark's dish better--but Tom basically said Stephanie's was completely hopeless and beyond salvaging.

So very true. Any grocery store website you visit proudly displays the price of their goods. WholeFoods doesn't. It's like if you have to ask then you obviously can't afford it.
BTB... Stop&Shop? You from my neck of the woods, hon?

No, we have them here in NYC, too.

I like how he said that in practically the same breath as his statement about Antonia....

Pass the hamburger meat. It's doable if you don't try to start with proscuitto (sp?), pate, lamb, etc.

No kidding, rtlily!!

It's stretch the protein and let it not be exotic or expensive!!

And throw in some inexpensive vegetables, which can be challenging!!

Now, we're going to go to the rutabaga, beet, turnip . . . and then they'll decide to use that to fuel an automobile.

Then we're fuc!ed!!!!

Oh man I posted a whole thing
to you JIM NYC..I lost it.

You did nothing wrong...It happened to Maludi too...And I think LD....It happens.
Just be you and don't worry... You could always be .......third try. laugh.gif

*high fives after putting drink glass down*

high fives NiCi and passes another double.... It was rather creative editing, no? They show the one who is PYKAG'd double dipping, but not the other... is it to kindle some attraction to Richard from the viewers?

And for those of you who missed it......I am Jim in NYC. My account and all my posts were deleted, no reason given, but if I had to guess, I'm thinking it's because of my frequent uses of "get-arounds"--using an exclamation point instead of an I, for example--for words that make the Bravo Board Censors wring their hands.

Fair enough. It's part of the Terms Of Use I clicked when I signed up. If this account disappears, too, it's been fun knowing all of you. If it stays, I look forward to many discussions in future.

Yes, he was caught once, but did it again tonight. Not sure he was caught tonight.

VISIBLY bad attitude, at that. Mark and Steph, like most on the chopping block, were standing at attention. Lisa, on the other hand, looked like a surly teenager called to the vice principal's office.

Yeah... She looked like that during the QF... complete with "angry lips".
StefanoCarlo
From her bio it's easy to see Stephanie is a seafood chef. In order to succeed she needs to listen more to her siren of the sea in order to stand out and move ahead.

Oh, quit it!! Everybody knows coming into this situation that they're going to be away from their family.

Manuel missed his twins, and he got a PYKAG.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind some time away from mine . . . three, and they're all 21 months apart in age.

What the heck was that?!!!!
I thought I was watching Top Chef, but I must have been on the wrong channel because all I got to see was the "Antonia Show" Blech!!!
Oprah's Chef was lovin on her from the QF to the EC
She was spotlighted for over half the show
I got really sick of all her "me, me, me, I, I, I, me, me, me, I, I" crap...
Maybe I'm just in a bad mood about Jim but Jeez, what a waste of time!!!!

Antonia is the most conventionally attractive woman competing this season. She'll get more "face time" if only for that. Why didn't she win a prize?

Stephanie has done better overall than Mark, but I don't have to taste chicken in peanut butter sauce over mushy overcooked couscous to know that it was foul.

So some weeks the guidelines matter and some weeks the best tasting dish matters, depending on which chef the judges prefer overall. I guess this is to prevent someone like Nikki from winning by being lucky?

Note, It's all a joke at this point. I don't care if Mark used $100 dollars worth of Kobe beef, you can't let the peanutbutter nightmare slide and not lose all credibility on this show.

These last two weeks have torpedoed this shows legitimacy and it's going down with all hands. lol.

I'm actually impressed by how the cooks are handling the kid thing. They all seem to be kindof energized by the idea of this. They could have been irritated by it...

Absolutely incredible observation, rtlily!! WTG.

I thought they'd feel oppressed (rather than feeling OPRAHed) or burdened, but every one of them embraced the challenge!!

Good for them . . . embracing the challenge . . . finally!! (speaking back to the improv challenge)

I 100% agree. Aside from the judging and the result this was one of my favorite shows. All the chefs were super cool with their kids. Way different than Shrek's opinion of them in season 1.

So is anyone else shocked that they Jobbed Mark off the show?

I mean how can you possibly justify keeping gross food that can't be salvaged?

I said this at 9:11 AM today and I'm sorry for Mark that the show is this transparent:

QUOTE
I think Mark goes the next chance they get to boot him. He gets along with everyone which is bad news for production. Plus the fact that he worked with Nikki alone and it wasn't a disaster shows that he's too dangerous to ongoing conflict to survive for Wedding Wars. Anyone who could possibly cause things to go smoothly must be eliminated!!!

I love the idea of creating a meal for four people for $10.00.
BUT having them shop at WHOLE FOODS... (the HIGH PRICE LEADER) is ABSURD!!
$10.00 at WHOLE FOODS will in reality buy you $5.00 worth of product.
Take that $10.00 anywhere else you'll get twice as much stuff as you will at WHOLE FOODS!!
Maybe they get a 50% discount for being a sponsor of the show.

$10 at WholeFoods in Chicago will get you a breath mint!!
