Welcome! Just in time for my critique! lol! As usual Nicole is showing how limited she is! She admits she doesn't know how to style hair! In the final 3 and she can say that! Tells me a lot about the show and the judging!

Why do I get the feeling that these are all going to be disasters.......

okay, let's hear charlie your shear genius and get it over with. . his cut on the 60 yo is okay but the color accented every wrinkle and dark spot in her skin. YUK!
My vote's for Dee. . used what she had and pulled it off . Nicole just couldn't finish. here ideas were good though.

They were good overall! They would have been more polished if they'd give them more than 3 hours! That's so ridiculous! They want it perfect, but won't give them any significant time to do all that work!

I agree. and i'm soooooooo Glad that Charlie didn't win since once again he piled it all up and we couldn't see his cutting techniques.

Well, at least it wasn't Charlie. All in all, a disappointing season.

I love it he had to take it standing there with DEE! He'd given her such a hard time all season; along with Nekisa! Just desserts!

If I could legally gag him. . . I'd let him finish off some of my updo's though. . but not if I had to listen to him. I'd make him wear boots, jeans, a starched button down and a hat with a ponytail. Everyone would laugh their arses off!

Well Bravo has done it again....A winner with no talent wins!!! I am sorry but Dee shouldn't have won it because she does the SAME HAIR CUT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! and again we saw it tonight. Heavy Bangs, the dog spot spoof in the middle of the hair, and to me her 18 year old looked 30 and the 30 year old looked more 18ish.

I am not sure I will watch next season because I am sick of watching people with the true talent get kicked off and the ones that have sob sad stories with no talent win. IT'S TALENT not the SAD SOB STORY.

The only other person that did NOT have to hear, "This was your final cut." or walk out that door, other than Dee?

Nicole did great!! She's going to go along way in the industry. Many, many people believe in her. To work in a top salon in NYC is very impressive. She didn't say she couldn't style hair at all! But that she needs to improve on it You go Nicole I'd let her cut my hair any day.

I missed the show. Did they announce fan fave?

Interesting season, to say the least. I still maintain that Charley looks like Adam from MythBusters and sounds like Michael Kors...just a LITTLE bit freaky.

And speaking of Shear Genius personnel looking like people from other shows: did anyone catch that Nicole's 45 year-old model was the Mom from the Hell's Kitchen episode with the 16 year-old birthday party dinner?

Fan fave was Daniel.

This season didn't level up to the first one, but I still enjoyed it. Congrats to Dee.

I have to say I was a bit shocked when they announced the winner! As soon as they told Nicole it was her final cut I thought for sure that Charlie had it in the bag! I started to get angry but then to my surprise Dee won! Not my personal choice...I didn't really like any of the top 3 but I have to say Dee impressed me this time. I thought she would do bobs on all the models but she actually did a variety of styles. I think hers were the best out of the 3! Go Dee!

Charlie's hairdoo's aren't practical! Who can replicate it the next day! Like they tried to instill in the designers, the customer should be able to do the doo the next morning! How can anyone re-create those up-styles of Charlie's! It had to go to Dee who had styles that could be achieved by all her clients!

To me Nicole's stuff looked the best. Dee's hairdos were horrible. It looked to me like they had just gotten out of bed and not brushed their hair. Plus the red shade she chose to me was didn't look good on the the women. Charlie's hairdos while nice made the women look a lot older to me than they actually were.

I didn't get why the judges liked Dee's haircut the the 18 year old because to me it looked like something a kid did - just hack their hair off and not do a good job of it.

Me too!!!! And, her styles were age appropriate. Sorry, Charlie. If I asked my teenage daughter to wear her hair like the teenager Charlie did, she have me committed...she's never agree...not even for prom where she'd consider an updo...just not that one!!!!

I almost did too...it was very quick and almost like an afterthought. Congrats to Daniel for Fan Fave!

This was my first season watch SG. I give all the stylists credit for making it to the show and getting as far as they got. I only posted once before about not understanding why Charlie's cotton candy teased up messes kept winning. I have to say I was watching the final, chanting "don't pick charlie". I know, as someone said in an earlier post, that the show needs drama. Yes it makes it more interesting but should talent be sacrificed for that? As far as Nicole, she's only 24 and knows her strengths and weaknesses. For her to have made it this far at that age is a great accomplishment.

1) I'm so happy Dee won!!

2) I'm shocked Jaq didn't say "it needed more movement" once this episode!

This was a TOUGH challenge! 4 clients, cut, color and style in 3 hours..uh shoot me! I think they all did good, but I think Dee did the best. Yay for her!

Aren't they going to do a reunion show like last season???

I just wished they'd kicked the d*uche bag Charlie, off first...What an arrogant pig...I loved the look on it's face when it realized it had lost...It thought It had it "all wrapped up"...

I definitely agree about the 3 hours! They would never do 4 heads, color and cut, much less style in 3 hours in a salon. I was surprised at how finished everyone looked on the runway considering the chaos when the clock stopped. How'd that happen?
I'm happy about Dee--I think she stepped up.
I felt that the interviews with Lee were designed to prepare the stylists for their clients, especially Dee and the observations about her favorite cut and color. She did a good job selling cuts to two of the women rather than just cutting as she did a couple of times previously.
Unlike you, Jay (I think) I felt Nicole's admission about not having styling skills was an honest self assessment and an admission that she needed to work on that skill. I see her taking Lee's suggestions seriously.
Finally, Charlie really is an artist with color and style--I only wonder what happens with the color when the hair isn't in an updo, or not in a Charlie updo.

Congratulations to Daniel for winning Fan Favorite! He really deserved it! Congrats to Dee! I didn't get to see all of the finals, but Dee and Charlie were both very good stylists! I'm sad that it's over!

do you think that shear genius will be back next season just asking ?

There's a definite possibility of it coming back given that it's already had two seasons, but I haven't found anything on Bravo indicating that it absolutely will.

I liked Nicole's idea of making the final 4 hair styles a tribute to her Mom. It was a nice way to say thanks to her Mom for all of the hard work and give credit to the everyday woman who makes a good life for her family. Charlie's movie star story and Dee's pop star story were rehashed themes.....too predictable. Overall Shear Genius made for entertaining TV - nice work everyone!

It looks like they're recruiting stylists again so we'll have a Season 3.

Really like this show! Disappointed tho' that Nicole didn't win.

First, it's ridiculous to give them the 3 hour deadline for the finale. They should be allowed to present their best work-isn't that the point of the show...to see who is Sheer Genius-not who can do the most mediocre but finished hair in 3 hours? I want to be inspired by the results-to be running to my stylist with a photo of one of the finale looks..but instead they all only got to put forth their least bad effort. Producers-give the finalists enough time in the finale so we can see what the can really do. 

Second, why do some gay men think acting bitchy is cool? Every season on one of these shows there is the idiot ultra bitchy gay a-hole. You're not intimidating, you're not impressing anyone and worst of all-you're painfully unoriginal. Charlie was the worst of all because his vile nasty act was also misogynistic. Telling Nekisa that she couldn't use 'her titties'. That word is grotesque. And, he was going to use the money for a nosejob for his boyfriend? Lol. Figures. He has to bribe someone to be with him. I'm just so very glad he lost. Back to obsurity with you, Charlie! 

ki9, completely agree with you about Charlie. What an asshat he is. I think his appearance on this show did more irreparable harm to him than had he stayed off and stayed home. I know that I'd never let him anywhere near me.
