Episode Two: De Ceilo Salon: Burbank, CA

The straight-talking Tabatha Coffey - fan favorite from the first season of Bravo's Shear Genius -- lends her sound advice and styling expertise to help desperate salon owners turn their struggling businesses around in the new Bravo series, Tabatha's Salon Takeover. Although De Cielo Spa and Salon promises a heavenly experience, Coffey uncovers a filthy hell when she drops in. Coffey and the staff must hold a scrub brush with one hand and their noses with the other as they attempt to clean up the business and the attitude of their lazy boss who reaches his boiling point when he is exposed by the one and only Coffey.

Thank you BBB! I missed Tabatha and Season One of Shear Genius. I hope it will re-run some weekday when I can watch.

Kudos to whoever helps Tabatha with her on-show wardrobe. It is very flattering and rich looking without being gaudy.. just what a person in high end customer service would wear.

This episode 2 is a doozey! The staff totally deserved Tabatha's help even if the boss did not. This, like the first, is a repeat worthy episode because it was just incredible that things were run so badly. I will probably feel badly if in future episodes staff is at fault. I hope no one is fired on television. That would be tacky and cruel.

I am so confused...is this the second episode or the third? I saw the one with the crying wife and the ex-militarty husband and then the one where the man called her a "b*tch"...the one where these pictures are from...what's the deal? Someone help me... blink.gif

Well, this thread is for the second episode. Which aired last Thursday.

Epi three isn't up yet, but I continue to be amazed at how Tabatha deals with some of these people. This NJ guy had some latent brains but was being incredibly irresponsible and immature. I would have had no patience with this guy and would have tried to get someone to kick his ***, but Tabatha stuck it out, and his salon looks like it's really successful now, even when she checked back after a few weeks. In episode two, she had to re-inspire the guy from Burbank because he was starting to slack off again, but the NJ salon looks like it's staying on track now that she's helped fix it.

Well Michael from last week's show is still a slacker! He just doesn't care; it's evident! Pls drop Bob Barr; he's such an A-Hole! He tries to embarass and humilate Clinton and he's taking his GF over state lines for an abortion! What a hypocrite! All of them from Ginrgrich to Livingston were doing the same thing as Clinton, but caused him nothing but aggravation the entire 8 years; still after him even now! These jerks will get it one of these days! They couldn't possibly be as religious as they say or they'd know they're going to burn in H E L L for all they did in the '90's! I can't wait!!

Great episode 3, but I'm stubbornly waiting for a third thread to post!

It is not mine shyjanne, so feel free. It's at http://bestsmileys.com/scifi/15. gif
you just want to omit the space before gif and surround it with image brackets, or click the button above on this edit box (the one that looks like a framed picture with an orange dot inside)
I don't know how to resize it.

Frankly, shyjanne, I hesitate to see you go borg.
If you think Pooh makes you look juvenile, consider what the borg stand for.. mindless conformity. Let me look for something more interesting for you!

Not in the legal sense. Never expect the law to make common sense.

To make a long explanation short, former President Clinton seems to have "outsmarted" himself. While manipulating the language (tensewise) to insure he could deny the obvious without technically committing perjury, he bought himself the scorn of much of the public. The issue was in how the question was phrased. It allowed him a way "out", that was guarenteed to irritate the average citizen. rolleyes.gif

Most peeps know that he wasn't the only president to have affairs. But the sense that he had the temerity to misrepresent the truth under oath, whatever the foul intent of the investigators, angered many.

"The Starr Report" was the product of thousands of hours of work involving FBI agents, investigators from the Office of the Independent Counsel (OIC), Justice Department lawyers, grand juries, legal teams from the Congressional staffs, and dozens of independent researchers, (as well as the labors of Matt Drudge, Ann Coulter, Lucianne Goldberg and others who provided their assistance). These efforts, coupled with the earlier investigations of "Whitewater" and "Travelgate," cost American taxpayers about $70 million. sad.gif

ALL those people will burn for this atrocious period in United States history! It didn't matter that the economy had turned around, people could buy a home without the threat of financial ruin like today, and that the National debt was actually going down! We let these morons distract us with personal question we had no right to even ask! Who tells the truth at first about an affair! Gingrich, Livingston, Barr, and others were all doing the same thing and at the same time pointing fingers! Edwards who dropped out early in this presidential cycle even had the nerve to berate Clinton and what was he just caught doing? Hypocrisy reigns BIG TIME in this country and I'm so sick of it! I truly gave up after 2004! If we can be tricked and fear-mongered into electing another one of these jerk Republicans, we deserve what we have now; mounting debt, outrage and hatred from other countries, and little hope for the future!

I second that I love her because she is really making a difference. I am glad that she does not back down and she gets things done. I am sure we have all worked where there is that one or two etc, people that are lazy and think they can get away with it because no one will stand up to them. Yeah well while Tabatha around that does not fly. Thanks to Tabatha and/or the producers for putting this show on air!!!!!!
