Episode 3: Martino Cartier at Giovanni and Pileggi: Sewell, NJ
The Martino Cartier at Giovanni and Pileggi Salon is run more like a nightclub -- complete with scantily clad girls, gold chains, and kisses on the lips. But the no-nonsense Tabatha Coffey has no patience for Martino's playboy ways and forces him to take a hard look at his out of control credit card debt, lavish lifestyle, and over the top behavior. Coffey only has one week to show this Jersey party guy that he needs to grow up and take control as the owner of this business. And the stakes are high. If Martino doesn't quickly have a major transformation, his salon will go under fast.

This is turning into Gordon R.'s Kitchen Nightmares! The stuff Tabatha is changing is more common sense than anything! You really need an expert to see most of these OWNERS are disturbed idiots! This is their lives and they run shops like they just don't care! They'd rather continue losing money than actually have true commitment! So bizarre! "Hey morons clean up your dumps & make sure the staff is doing the job!" Episode 2 had the worse; the guy takes a nap during this period of evaluation? He knows camera's are around and he just blows off the whole project! These people must be high on hairspray fumes!

Martino's house was beautiful, but sad also. All his spaces seem to have come exactly from a magazine pictorial. Nowhere could you find Martino's individuality. It looked like a set.. a stage.

At least the decorating was beautiful so his money there was not wasted. The sad part is that he has all the raw ingredients, looks, money, intelligence, charisma, taste and it took Tabatha to wake him up, even a little, to pursue his potential.

Another good episode and good job by Tabatha. At least Martino seemed to really get it and embrace "the change" at the end - which can only be a good thing.
Tabatha seems to have a knack for also picking out employee talent at these places.....many that have been overlooked by their bosses!
Looking forward to Thursday's show.

I like the show...I like Tabatha...but she was unprofessional when she called Martino an ass right there on the salon floor on the reopening day! Come on Tabatha...watch your language when the customers are around!
