I am defianately a black woman and am extreamly proud of who i am and where i come from, but to say someone is a raciest simply because they said something that you did not particulary agree with is ludacris! I love RHOA but please be serous it is embarrassing, to black women all over the country. are we all money hungery alley and street acting? NO!, does the show portray us in that manner. I am all for speaking your mind but i also think that there would have been much better representation of us if the show wasnt all about ratings. It is fun to watch and to call someone a raciest because they call a spade a spade is just plain stupid!

I love, love NeNe!! She is sooo funny, and real. I totally relate to her and her behavior, its all in good fun. She makes me laugh and i enjoy watching her. And what the heck with Kim and Sheree? Sheree is only hanging out w/ KIm cuz shes good for her self esteem, I love to laugh at both of them! Lisa is such a biatch for talking smack about NeNe! I am so tired of looking at Kims lacefront or weave whatever it is. The camera keeps focusing in on her head and all I could see is the part that is in her natural hair and then the wig/weave's part trying to be aligned with her natural part.

Maybe it just may be the editing, but she did say some of those things about Kim and Sheree. She is talking as if she never said these things.

She's ok, but who ever did her makeup when she was doing the one on one interview with the camera, messed her up. She needs to fire them, because her face looks red.

And to think I wasn't going to watch this HW version because I just couldn't find the time. Thank Goodness for the weekend marathon to catch me up. It's like watching a train wreck.



"Out of Tune" – best episode – of almost ANY of the HW's.



I was thinking that Sheree was the most centered and together of the group until I saw her lie to Kim's face while sitting in the car with her. "All that beauty and talent inside". It was difficult to watch. And….uh….sitting in a parked car, drinking wine? Really? Seems like none of these woman can be without their wine for very long.



Who over the age of 10 years old has never eaten guacamole or know the benefits of an avocado? So embarrassed for her, acting like a 15 year-old brat. Can't buy class or culture. That whole lunch scene was painful. How can Sheree tell from that one meeting that Kim and Dallas have any type of relationship at all? He's there, because he's being paid to be there. I could feel him screaming inside while listenting to Kim in the studio. I'm fairly certain that the people he has worked with can match pitch, and call themselves singers…because they actually are.



I agree with post below. Although NeNe was drunk, and got a little carried away – everyone certainly got a chuckle out of it. Interesting once they come clean to Kim but don't stand behind it. Can't wait to see the recap episode when they show this scene, and how everyone turned on NeNe, not Kim. I love the comment…."I've never heard her hum".



NeNe is not unhappy….she just seems to really enjoy being around her girlfriends, and is the only REAL housewife.

I still don't know what Sheree means every time she mentions that people are intimidated by her success. There seems to be confusion between their bank accounts, and success. I agree...money provides power...but is it HER success?

Big Poppa is a real estate mogul who is a married hispanic, with the initials LN from what I've heard. I just really feel sorry for Kim. She tries so hard to be liked. I wish one of her friends would tell her about her weave. Seriously, would you let your girlfriend walk around like that? And did you see Sheree's face when she spelled cat K-A-T? Priceless! Hopefully hearing her voice recorded was a wake up call. I know Dallas was trying hard not to laugh at her.

I'm sorry but Kim is too much. Big Poppa needs to tell her not to do a Season 2 because she is making a fool out of herself. Notice I said "making a fool" and I didn't call her a fool. Regardless of my particular feelings about some of the "wives" (and I use that word loosely), I think that some of the comments that people leave on here and on the blog are unnecessary. You can comment on a person's behavior without calling them names. Some of the personal attacks are just too much.

Oh My Gosh!! Did any of these girls graduate from highschool? Did anyone of them attend college? When Kim said I am smart under this blonde hair - I have nursing degree, I nearly croaked. i just watched another rerun of episode 5. did anyone else notice the engineer on the sound board removing the headphone from his ear when kim tries to sing the high note? so funny!!!

Yes! I noticed and was ROTFL! It was hilarious! Why did Sheree tell her she had a beautiful voice? I think Sheree just wants to hang with Kim because she thinks she can get hooked up with another rich man. If Kim is really living off of and bragging about being kept by a married man, I am truly disgusted. And with all the cash being thrown around one would think better hair care would be possible. I love the show, especially NeNe! She is just hilarious! And honest to a fault!

I live in Orange County, California and have watched the OC Housewives for years. I have to ask a few questions...

Are there really women like this in Atlanta? Is this really a demographic that you could go find fairly easily? And if there is, aren't Atlantans embarassed of this?

I know that the OC girls are really fairly stereotypical. I can think of a dozen places I could drive 15 minutes to and find these women crawling all over the place; Fashion Island in Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Club 33 at Disneyland, anywhere in Newport Coast or Coto de Caza, a hundred trendy restaurants in Laguna Beach, Irvine, Corona del Mar, etc. The OC housewives really do exist in huge numbers and they really do look like that, and you can see them in their native habitat quite easily.

So are there these types of women in Atlanta's upper-middle class suburbs a lot? Are they rare, or do they swarm certain malls and restaurants by the thousands like they do here in OC?

And why on earth do these Atlanta women have such horrible grammar and diction? I'm not hearing a lot of southern accents on this show, it's just simply really bad grammar and pronunciation. If one of these gals says the word "Jewry" again when she means to say "Jewlery", I think I'm going to fall off the couch laughing. Do the self-described "elite" of Atlanta really hate the English language so much that they would butcher it on national television?

I just have so many questions!

And honestly, these people are not "rich" or "elite", they are simply upper-middle class trying desperately to make people believe they are lower-upper class. Same thing with the OC gals, they aren't the top tiers of SoCal society, they are just upper-middle class housewives who buy everything on credit cards and home equity loans. These Atlanta girls are the same thing, although their Atlanta McMansion homes are worth a whole lot less than the homes in OC.

Mrs. Austin, I agree with you and I also understand your feelings about the show. I hear you loud and clear. But understand this has nothing to do with agreements or disagreements, I'm not sure where you got that but let me assure you this is exactly what it is… A racist Bravo reality show cast member who claims to be here to critique another reality show, RHA but is actually just promoting hatred towards blacks.

Don't loose sight, you're too smart to allow them to distract you. Go back and read her blogs and read them again. Her message of prejudice is hidden but reads loud and clear.

Bravo has given this Beth Frankel person a public forum to repeatedly publicize her personal dislike of blacks while attempting to use wit (although she has none) as a camouflage.

Bravo has provided Frankel with a public venue to promote her racist propaganda all while claiming she's just critiquing the show, RHA. Sadly enough some posters aren't reading her blogs carefully enough to clearly see her thinly veiled hatred towards blacks nor are they seeing her promotion of racism she tries to disguise. However, many of us ARE seeing it and finding it unacceptable. (I hear you Miss Atlantangel! Spread the word)

Frankel will write about how much she "loves" something the women do or say but she's actually perpetuating the typical old stereotypes. She stresses how she just "LOVES" the "junk in the trunk" and goes on about the shape of black women. She stresses her "LOVE" for a new "Language" spoken on the show. And exactly what new language are these black American women from Atlanta speaking? Ghettoesish? Blackness? Southernism? What? Sisters, if you don't realize she's trying to disguise her perpetuation of the stereotypical views of how Blacks don't speak proper English then you may be too young to understand and should run it past your Momma because she can help clear it up.

I guarantee that the uneducated bigots understand what Frankel is really saying and they are far from Rocket Scientists so pay attention sisters because this cloak and dagger act is over.

"Mrs. A" you (and many other women) say you hate the TV show because the women portrayed are embarrassing although they really are as they appear? How did you put it, Frankel is just calling "A spade a spade"??? So that makes it all OK? Well, that's exactly what she and Bravo would like us to think.

Moving on now, let's not forget who put this show on air. Bravo. And who cast these particular black women for the show? Bravo. And who continues to provide Frankel an opportunity to promote her racist thoughts? Bravo. Bravo has the RHA to bring in ratings and Frankel to attract other bigots here who she then encourages to watch "her" show - the all white cast - Housewives of New York. which brings in more ratings... if she happens to stir up a little trouble even amongst black women even better because that leads to even more ratings.

From a true Georgia Woman, I think the only one that is actually from our great state is NeNe and she really isn't the standard for our southern woman. I like NeNe but she is sometimes over the top. I'm sorry is it me or does Kim ALWAYS have her chest on show ?

It is a terrible example for her children and rather off putting for the rest of us trying to watch the show. I find myself yelling at the TV, "woman put some clothes on".

Watching her attempting to sing was just painful, I felt embarrassed for her.

NeNe has me in hysterics. She got drunk and said some mean stuff, but it was hilarious and what a great voice, strikes me she should be the one in the studio with Dallas.

Superb editing on behalf of the Bravo team, as you can tell by how many of us are on here, let alone watching the show.

It doesn't represent Atlanta terribly well, particularly as most of the women are there due to the men they married. Although Lisa was a sneak telling Sheree, I admire her for being the one out there making money.

Yes, honey! That put the icing on the cake! That whole scene with her singing was hilarious. I really thought she was gonna end up running out of the studio once she started up. She should've just died at that moment when Dallas made her listen to her recording. When he made her listen to herself, it was like how u put ur puppy's face in his poop to show him what a bad thing he's done...Bad Doggy! LOL. Kim is not very intelligent and that's been evident since the beginning. But you already know she was aware that she couldn't sing, that's why as soon as she showed up at the studio the chick starts making excuses about her voice or whatever crap she was saying about being hoarse. I believe that both Kim and Sheree are completely delusional if they truly think Kim can sing. Kim's only talent appears to be her ability to smoke 20 cigarettes a day. I always liked Lisa until she spread the gossip about Ne Ne's song. I know Ne Ne was being extremely immature. But, Lisa didn't need to spread it. Just let it die. You don't return immaturity w/ more immaturity. It was so silly. I still think Lisa is the least offensive of them all. At least she has a work ethic.

Was anyone as disgusted by the pole dancing as I was? Sheree, we could've gone our whole lives w/o ever having to witness you on the pole. Gag me now! I especially loved how the "professional" dancer enlightened us about Atlanta's unique style of pole dancing. ROTFL

For the most part, these women are so embarrassing to all women (not just black women--and I'm a black woman). But, it's like a car wreck. I just can't turn away. I have to slow down and watch. The absurdity is magnetic.

I agree. Although I understand some of the things we see on TV make us mad let us remember it's just TV. As for the wives I really like NeNe and DeShawn, Kim is beginning to act like a follower, grown women should be able to handle having two friends that don't get along.

I want to know why Kim was sitting in the driver's seat of her car with Sheree drinking a glass of wine!!! Completely unacceptable!!! Did the restaurant just let her walk around with it? Not only is it illegal to have an open container of alcohol in your car but a very bad example to set. What's even crazier is in the next scene when she and the girls are at the lingerie store, she has the same glass of wine in her hand. Did she bring it with her? LOL Sad, sad woman.

It had been bugging me who Sheree looks like and a lightbulb went off this AM when I read the poster who said Sheree looks like Lady Chablis. OMG that's it! And she looks older than 38 to me.

Kim is white trash and too stupid to know how ignorant she is. The bday cake was terrible and she never had guacamole? I really wonder about the taste of Big Poppa if she's the best he could get. I'll bet he drops her -- it's already out who he is.

At first I thought DeShawn was sweet but now see how pretentious she is. I never heard of her husband, don't follow basketball but wouldn't that Cleveland team be second tier? He seems a little slow to me but obviously indulgent to her.

I suppose this was to let us know that the woman is certifiably nutty, in case her singing ambitions didn't clue us in. You'd have to be drunk to think that was singing, but apparently Kim is, and she does. The biggest losers are her daughters. Big Papa should stay home with his wife and take back his credit cards and self respect. He can't have any if he hangs out with her. All these women can be a little over the top and silly, but Kim is the big winner in the loser category. NeNe can sing, and it would be a riot if she put out an album while old croaky was still arguing with the voice coach. Kim is headed for rehab, either this season or next. I won't be sorry to see her go. She's a mess.

Are you talking about Bethany from the Real House Wives of NYC (that was the most boring house wives show, I was too sick with NYC house wives for not repping the city right, HATED IT, anyway where was I? Oh) The Bethany with the hard looking face, tiny body, no lips, big head, and ballon tatas that look as if they were going to tilt her entire body, Bethany? You can't see racist all over her face? I am not suprised. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THE NYC HOUSE WIVES A NEW SEASON UNLESS YOU GET AN ENTIRE NEW CAST BECAUSE THAT CAST STUNK, REAL BAD!!!!

Wow, I don't know where to start with this episode. It was nonstop laughter for me.

Everytime I think Kim can sink no lower, she proves me wrong. It's really and truly sad that this woman has daughters! She is nothing more than dressed up trash and she is so backwards. How do u not know about guacamole, but you can be so knowledgable about DIOR? It's laughable! I do think the song NeNe sang was not nice, but it was funny and all true. But let's not forget she was at a private dinner amongst 'friends' and it shouldn't have gone further than that car (okay, I guess there are no secrets when u've got cameras in your face.), but it's obvious that Lisa was the one who said something to Sheree and got the ball rolling for the Kim-NeNe feud. And when did Kim all of a sudden get so big and bad, thinking she can go and text some -ish like that to NeNe? Hanging out with Sheree don gave this heifer big Monkey N*TS! She's gon be looking even more stupid when she finds out Sheree is just playing her a$$!

I think that this episode gave me a little more insight into the true character of of Deshawn and Lisa. Lisa's messy as he** and Deshawn's really not into that type of back and forth type mess. And I believe a 'lady' wouldn't entertain gossip and the like. That's why Kim and Sheree are a perfect match. It's obvious they live for the sneaky, indirect type of mess...and they're mad because NeNe will simply say how she feels about things.

Kim and Sheree's new found BFF union is a classic case of 'Misery Loves Company' and nothing goood can come of a situation like that.

All I can say about Kim's kindergarten way of spelling cat is it is evidence of her lack of intelligence. Once again, I just think it's sad that she has daughters...hopefully that dumb, kept-woman lifestyle ends with her and her kids don't end up as sad as she is.

And why does it seem that everyone is forgetting what the term "housewife" refers to? I think that NeNe is the only true housewife on this show and she keeps it "Oh, so Real". Her husband is her best friend and they seem to have more of a real life relationship. Not like the NFL/NBA wives.
