Is it just me or does Lynne's dtr, Alexis, have a b/f that looks like a butchy girl?
Again, I come away from the episode thinking that Gretchen sure does alot of "fun" stuff for someone that has a sick loved one in the hospital. She gives me really bad vibes. And the ring, was she excited b/c of the size of the diamond? or b/c the love of her life got it for her? why didn't she get on the phone right away and share the moment with him? Again, bad vibes.
It was nice to have so little of Vicki on this episode. Jenna had this huge zit on her face while she was at dinner with her ex. it was very distracting. Okay now i'm being catty. Meow... but it was distracting.And Lynne really needs a hair makeover. She looks like she stepped off the starsky and hutch tv set or was a person pulled over by Eric Estrada on Chips back in the 70's.

My Opinion of the day at the races episode...
OMG. tamra can you be more of a two-faced, crap-starting, immature witch? you say that Gretchen loves being the center of attention (which is definitely true),but i believe it really bothers you that the light just shines a lot brighter on her than you when you're out together. your horns have really come out this season,horns of jealously.
Vicky, no wonder you travel so much with all the crap you are around day to day. Thank God for your refreshing daughter in your life. I wish you the best even if I am the only one on the message board to do so. I think you have alot of love in your heart, you just need to corral it in to the truly important things and not the material things and people that misguide our lives.(tamra doesn't give a crap about you or anyone else other than tamra)
Jeana I do agree that you stick up for the underdog, but who cares. You are so calm and collected about everything you do and say,very confident looking even tho i do believe looks are deceiving. I do admire Jeana the most. Kara is awesome, and the boys are boys.
I really like Lynn. I think its so immature how Vicky and Tamara have treated her. Lynn, you up-classed them by a MILE. Good for you! (You and your husband do need to have a talk with your girls tho caz one is on the verge of being in a drunk driving accident with her being the driver and the other is soon to be pregnant. It's now or never)

All I have to add is next weeks episode looks like a real DANDY. Cant wait.

Okay, as for tonight's episode - let me just say that if Vicki and Tamra are working to become the true bitches of the show, they are so on course! Tamra has the audacity to talk about people with no class?! I guess it takes one to know one! What is with PURPOSELY being complete and utter snobs at the race track?! Just because you have money and "bling" that doesn't mean YOU have CLASS! Vicki and Tamra are proof of that tenfold! Tacky beyond belief! And, can someone tell me why Don still is with Vicki?! That woman verbally abuses that man every chance she gets TRYING to be "funny" when all she is is HURTFUL to that poor guy! I don't think anyone would blame him if one morning he packed up his bags and left! There's so much neglect and abuse a man can take! What with having her laptop attached to her hip every trip they take - what's UP with that?! And, then in previous episodes she complains that her "tank is depleted" and she doesn't think Don can fill it! How can he when there's a LAPTOP, PHONE, CRACKBERRY, etc between them?! Vicki wants her cake and she wants to eat it as well - sweetheart, I hope those things keep you warm at night because one of these days Don WON'T BE! Food for thought! Just sayin...

Gretchen and Jeana are my favorites! They have that "who the hell cares" attitude and when it comes to being around Vicki and Tamra that's your best way to be! And, what's with Vicki thinking that Jeana is betraying her by being with the other housewife?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! What GRADE is Vicki in?! "She has to be MY friend, she can't be HERS!" Grow the hell UP, woman!!

In this particular episode, I felt for the newest housewife, who, for some reason, her name keeps escaping me even though I just watched the episode! LOL However, how she and her husband haven't spoken to their 15 year old daughter about SEX yet, is beyond me! Alexa doesn't even know what to call "the talk"! SEX, Sweetheart - the word is SEX! This woman can dress that poor girl like a HOOKER in one of HER own dresses but she hasn't sat the poor child down to talk to her about SEX! Unbelievable!

Watching this show is like watching jumbo tractor car crashes! You just can't help but keep watching! It just amazes me what money and insecurity do to people sometimes. It's sad - yet intriguingly amusing all in the same breath! The way some of them act toward each other makes me wonder sometimes how they REALLY would act if a rich BLACK WOMAN were thrown in there just to mix it up! I can ONLY imagine the back-stabbing, name-calling chatter that would take place then! They would probably hold on to their purses a lot tighter, too! (I can say that, people - I AM black!)

Icki's cut-down to Don... Just watching him gritting his teeth, you just know he wanted to smack'er one. Why would ANYONE stay with someone who treats'em like crap? Glutten for punishment are we???

I like that Jeana wasn't afraid to be out of the club/clique by sitting with Gretchen & Lynne. She did do the 'go between' thing but went back to/seemed to spend the majority of the time with Gretchen & Lynne.

I'm curious to see next week/what happens with Gretchen & Ryan after doing the tequila shots.

Someone at BravoTV PLEASE inform Vicki that LAKE HAVASU IS A LAKE!!!! AUGHHHHH!!!! Her daughter Brianna commented that they had all been "going to the river since she was in diapers" (aughhh!!!) so why doesn't Vicki know that LAKE HAVASU IN ARIZONA IS A LAKE!! THEN Tamra repeats it as "Vicki's River House" ... Are these people that dense that they cannot differentiate between a river and a lake?? And to add to my frustration upon hearing it from Vicki over and over is a half dozen of the others on the show saying "the River" or " the River House" too! When they pull up to the LAKE and the signs pointing there say "LAKE HAVASU" doesn't that give them a clue?? And the kicker is that they've been going there for years!! LOL, I think Tamara is having a nervous breakdown that not only did they bring Gretchen, who is YOUNGER and HOTTER than her but then they bring in Lynn who is also hotter than Tamara. She went from 2nd (sorry hon, you never did beat Lauri) to third, to fourth, as far as hottness. She can't sit with the two new hot ones then everyone will see how much hotter they are so she sits with Icky who would make anyone look good.

Jeana, you beautiful woman you, I found you a great man. He is married to a real mean woman right now but he seems to be waking up to what a monster she truly is so he may be available sooner rather than later. Don has been humiliated enough by his narcissitic wife and I think it would be hilarious if he went from Icky to Jeanna. I agree with the above poster that Jeanna is the only housewife that truly has her act and her family together. Vicki's daughter seems very nice but it is always so painful to watch her with her mother. Icky is so busy begging for attention that she really don't seem to care who her kids are, only who she thinks they should be as a reflection of her. When they were announcing one of the housewives was leaving, I have to admit I was hoping for Icky or Tamara and was disappointed it was Lauri, though I wish Lauri the best.

I do have to give Simon a huge thumbs up too for standing up for Don. Simon is so sweet, I just can't figure out why he is with Tamara, he is so above her.

Yes, I'd LOVE to see Don leave icki for Jeanna. Jeanna apreciates her kids for who they are/have become rather than the way icki looks at hers as how SHE wants them to be. And has anyone noticed how Jeanna's kids actually WANT TO be with their mother & seem to feel comfortable to come & talk openly with'er as apposed to icki's who avoid their mother like the black plague whenever possible??? Yes, when Simon showed some spine for standing up for Don, that was good, I was also temporarily impressed when he made the comment about Ryan's tattoo in his mouth, 'it's only a tattoo'. It's one of those 'pick your battles' type deals cause when you think of the far worse things that the kid could be doing... it's only a tattoo, get over it. Eventhough he does show brief examples of being human, they're too far & few between to consider him not an idiot. I'd have to see ALOT more from'im to be able to say 'maybe' he's not quite so stupid. I still see dumb & dumber though when I look at him & tamera.

As for Tamera's little dinner party next week... First, her 'etiquite class' (sorry for the spelling), A, I was always told that you look at the place setting as a 'V'.... you don't want to 'cross your arms over your plate' so everything on your left side, you use your left hand & everything on the right, you use the right hand for. You watch the video clip.... did she not learn/remember anything? They looked like they should have been sitting at a booth at McDonalds fighting over the last curly fry.

The second point... watch Tamera talking to icki i.e. getting Gretchen to do the tequilla shots... Yeah, I'd trust a little b!tch like that.... NOT. She gets more & more two-faced/back-stabbing by the day! Nither her or icki would last a day up around here where 'real people' would litteraly tear'em apart in less than a half hr. I think she was just excited... I mean think about it... something big that you have to wait for to arive, when it finally does, it's just human nature to be excited. Maybe she should have waited to open it at the hosp so Jeff could see her open it but hindsight is always 20/20. I guess it's just hard for me to say anything against'er cause she & Jeanna are the only two on the show I actually like anymore.

Notice how ugly and unattractive the housewives are when they are being mean and nasty ???!! Perfect example is Tamra. Her face takes on a whole different image when she has the claws out. YUCK!! Eventually that mean look becomes permanent, and all the botox in the world will not erase it.

Everyone feels bad for Donn and Gretchen's husband, and Tamra's husband. But lets face it, these are the kind of women they are attracted to !! THere ARE guys out there that look a little deeper than looks for a woman. I don't feel sorry for them one bit!!!

Wow, previews to next week! YIKES!!! Can't wait to watch the train wreck. Gretchen's true colors come out. Just add a little alchohol and stir!!! This is a great show to sit your young and impressionable daughters down to watch. Perfect examples of what NOT to do in social situations.

Wow, so what was up with Tamra and Vickie? The tension was so thick, you could cut it with a knife! Tamra acted so angry about something. I think the producers are wanting them to be cattier this season, but this season is sad. I liked last season better, when they were nicer, and did fun things together. The Atlanta Housewives were so mean and catty, I couldn't even stand to watch it! So far, the Lynn storyline is boring. She just seems difficult to talk to, or maybe like she doesn't fit in with Tamra and Vicky? It was uncomfortable last night. Tamra, Vicky and Jeana all click together, but Lynn and Gretchen just don't really fit in, or something. I'm not sure what it is. Jeana needs a great storyline. I want something good to happen to Jeana! I like Vicky when she acts crazy and psycho, ha ha! Like, fun crazy, not sad crazy! Tamra is my favorite housewife, and I want her to have a great storyline!

Next week looks interesting! Oh no, Gretchen flirting with Ryan! So, what about Jeff, and why does Gretchen continue to do things that hurt his children? Gretchen is a beautiful girl, though, and she has the most sparkly eyes I have ever seen! The ladies were all so beautiful at the races, with their big hats!

I don't think that people should worry about Vicky's husband! He probably enjoys being away from Vicky at times! LOL!

Something is definately amiss here. I read Tamra's blog and she kind of explained why she was staying away from Gretchen at the races, although she did not give enough info (Damn Her!!) . She said something along the lines of she was trying to keep Simon and Gretchen apart due to some information he (Simon) received at 1 am in the morning. She went on to say that Gretchen knew all about it, and Tamra was a little upset that Gretchen acted like she did not know what was going on. Hmmmm. Hopefully Tamra will spill the beans soon! I am not a big fan of Gretchen's, there's something about her that I can't put my finger on. The more I see her the more I do not like her. The scenes for next week have grabbed my attention, although I hope Bravo did not edit it to look like something was happening when it was not. They're good at doing that. The scenes from next week were more interesting then the whole show last night. What a snoozefest!

I'm getting such bad vibes from Gretchen, too! She does act a little too "happy". Next week looks really good, oh no, what about Jeff? If Gretchen hooks up with Ryan, Tamra might claw her eyes out, ha ha! Better watch out, Gretchen!

One: Gretchen IS a gold digger. You don't gush over a SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR RING, put it on you LEFT hand, then go to a horse track and rub your ass against a total strangers groin. She has about as much class as a cat turd.

Tamra: Walking bag of botox and jealousy. Wouldn't it be too funny if Simon had hooked up with Gretchen and that's why Tamra had to keep him away from her. Tamra is a backstabbing [expletive deleted].

Donn: Vicki has no clue how well she has it.

Gretchen's brother: Polar opposite of his sister. They should have focused a little on him, seemed like a nice guy.

Lynne: Shame she's stuck with these losers. She saw the whole day for what it was, pity none of the others could.

LOL about lynne's daughter's BF. And boy does he need a chin implant. Maybe Lynne and her hubby can sport him a few thou from their plastic surgery budget...

I was so irritated by Gretchen's behavior. She was bouncing around the house flaunting her ring as if her fiance was on the golf course and not dying in a hospital. How totally disturbing. And shoving it in the faces of his distraught kids who were trying to act happy for her while they were dealing with their dad's illness. While I still think TTT was a total beyotch for her comment last week, I don't think Gretchen deserves much better at this point.

Tamra and Vicki have become so nasty, they are difficult to watch. Nearly every comment Tamra makes in her solo interviews is negative. Vicki is the same way, she is constantly whining about how mistreated she is. She is always the victim.

I just don't see how they can watch themselves, and rationalize that kind of behavior. Even if they are 100% correct (which they are not IMO), it makes them look awful. How can that be good for Vicki's business? I can't imagine buying insurance from someone like that. And Tamra is so self-involved. Does she honestly have no clue how hateful she appears to the public? Isn't she a real estate agent? How does she expect to maintain a clientele with her constant bitchiness.

Jeanna -- I love her. But sometimes, I think she needs to take a stand with Vicki and Tamra. She hears the garbage they spew. And she knows it is not right. I think she rides the fence too much, laughs along even, and I don't really see the point, other than keeping the peace. I can't help but think that but for this show, she'd have nothing to do with either of them. They are not her type.

Gretchen -- I really like her. I think Vicki and Tamra's issues with her stem from pure jealousy. Gretchen really never has anything catty to say about Tamra or Vicki in her interviews, other than lamenting the two-faced, bitchy behavior. I guarantee you if she were chubby and homely, Tamra would have declared her as her BFF two episodes ago.

I am concerned about next week though. It looks like Gretchen gets wasted. Like someone said, I hope Bravo is just editing the trailer to make it look more interesting that it actually will be.

I could of sworn NeNe said during the Atlanta reunion that the OC wives were very snotty and stuck up only Jeana talked to her.....after watching these women, I have to say I totally believe it. And where is NeNe? She hasn't blogged in weeks - speaking of blogs - did you see Tamara's - it cut so short - what was the info at 1AM - drama - that she was keeping Simon away from Gretchen???

O.k. while I loathe to write anything that might actually defend icky-vic I do need to say that there IS a river at Lake Havasu. It's the Colorado River, not "havasu river" and it's actually the water source for Lake Havasu which is really just a dam that the Colorado River feeds into. It's actually very cool how deep it gets - 100s of feet at some points since it is a damed-up canyon. It's very common to refer the the Havasu area as "the river" since much of the boating, camping, and canyon swimming take place along the Colorado River and not in the actual open water of Lake Havasu. I don't mean to be confrontational as, again, I loathe dumb-a$$ icky-vic.

I think we have to be careful when we talk caddy and make it about looks with the youth, but if you are going to act caddy and he does something to himself atleast that family has it in writing, to sue.

What about the cold sore on Tamara's lip at the water works during the lake trip.  Hmmm wonder where that came from...plus if we are going to talk looks.  Well Vickie is not looking good on HD and Tamara too.  I may have to go to a guest room that does not have HD to watch.

It's my first time posting here but I have been reading the forums.

Jeana - What a saint. I Love, Love , Love her. She is the type of person you want to do business with and be your friend. As far as I am concerned she cannot do any wrong.

Gretchen - I like her but am still on the fence. Her actions while Jeff is in the hospital could be her way of handling stress. She brought his kids in to spend time with him so she was free to have a little fun. Seeing the program is edited, we didn't see her at the hospital and maybe Jeff was not doing well and did not want the cameras there. The girl does need a day off. Being excited about her ring is only natural. I know when I got mine I showed it off to anyone who would look.

Lynn - She adds nothing but show what a poor example of a mother. I hate to bring up looks but she needs to spend more time on her hair and face to match her body. Also, don't shop at Ace Bandage/Fredricks of Hollywood for your clothing. At your age your hem line should be JUST above the knee or below.

Tamara - WHO SERVES TEQUILA SHOTS AT A DINNER PARTY??? Oh that's right, Trailer Trash Barbie. Honey, stop to plastic surgery and such. Also, you are in a business where word of mouth is so important. You should not ailienate anyone (take a lesson from Jeana). Be nice to people and keep your caty comments to yourself.

Vicki - You are a bitter, nasty women. You are also a business woman who relies on word of mouth. If I were you I would worry about your clients watching you make an arse of yourself and switch insurance providers. Do you watch yourself?

Personally I think that Vicki and Tamara should spend time in a mental hospital or rehab. They just not right.
