So totally can't for the reunion when we hear about the count leaving LuAnn cause she constantly says "The count" which he states is tre improper. Got tired of her having to tell EVERYONE she is a Countess and how she is to be addressed.

Hey everyone, before we start tonight's party I think we better read this sober! Remember when Luann bragged that obviously Beth' doesn't know how much the Lesseps have done for this COUNTRY??? I thought it was the most arrogant stupid thing she's ever said.
For the longest time many people have been begging for an investigation of the "Royalty" claims made by Luann and her husband. Well it's official now!!! They are fakes!!!!

Harper's Bazaar magazine contacted a London official and after he researched it, here's what he found out:

A French court found de Lesseps and his son Charles guilty of mismanagement. Both were heavily fined and sentenced to imprisonment. In the event, de Lesseps did not go to jail, but his son paid for his elderly father's misjudgments with a year in prison. De Lesseps died on 7 December 1894.

Although Lu' has repeatedly said it was her husband's family who GAVE the US the statue of liberty... is an interesting choice of words. It's not like he BUILT it or had any direct connection to building it. Actually the old Lesseps was the head of the Franco-American Union at the time and he, along with other Frenchmen arrived together to deliver it to the US. The way Lu' tells the story it's as though he built it and carried it on his back and gave it to the us. Sorry Lu' it was never HIS to give.

Bottom line, Luann is a liar. Her book website is a joke. At first her website stated that she's an exotic aristocrat whose FAMILY lived in several homes all over Europe. Then she claimed to be a regular old French then Indian girl from Connecticut? Go look at her website. Between the first and second paragraphs. It was just removed mid sentenced and now it makes no sense.

Apparently the "tribe" of "Native Americans" she claims to belong have never seen her and thinks she's a joke, not to mention she sure never gave them a DIME!

She is seriously out of control.
I have gone slowly from thinking she was funny to thinking she has an inflated self worth and out of control behavior.
The link earlier about her temper tantrum at store and obvious feeling of superiority are going to take her down as fast as she went up.
She came out of the season fairly unscathed because of Lu Ann's countess behavior in the beginning and then Kelly's nutty behavior...
I think it is slowly catching up with her as more and more "I am up here and you are all downthere" stories unfold.

When I first read in her blog that she was selling her old clothes on ebay, and her intro to it was something along the lines of "Since so many of you have asked me about my clothes I've decided to make some of them available on ebay" I lost even more respect for her (and there wasn't much to begin with).

So it's as a FAVOR to the viewers, in response to their inquiries, that you've decided to allow them to buy your old, used clothes from you. It's good that you clarified that because otherwise I would have thought that you were trying to squeeze money out of the viewers who read your blog (none of whom I'd seen asking where they could obtain her clothing from).

And this from a woman who is constantly flaunting how much more money she has than the average person. ick.

BTW, if she does donate all the money to a charity I will withdraw all of the judgments I just passed, but she didn't mention anything about that.

I suppose now is the time that Piper can take a slow bow...

My opinion of Jill has slowly gone downhill, too.
I don't like how she looks down on the Van Kempens. No Jill they don't have the money you (bobby) has but they like nice things, too.
The snide comments she made when they were showing her their renovation. No Jill not everyone can move out while a renovation is going on (although the VK's did move to Simon's hotel for a few nights.) Plus they like to be a part of their renovation. They don't have a house gay elf that will just comes in and puts up whatever Liberace sh*t he wants.
We are supposed to be so happy for her when she gets a $16,000 purse or a new Mercedes SUV but the VK's are pretensious because they like to buy designer clothes (which Alex can pull off).

PS. Am I the only one who thinks Bitchnmoana should think twice before baring her midriff on camera or in public again? I realize she's not fat, nor obese, but she does look rather paunchy. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find out she wore that top because she knew Bethenny was wearing something similar. That whole scene with the 2 of them walking their dogs, totally roasting LuAnn behind her back KILLED ME. I do like Bethenny, but she and Rudemona are both really 2faced and very likely to talk crap behind their friends' backs. This is a trait I find unforgivable, truth be told.

My guess is that they ARE feeling it. She put the clothes up for sale after the season wrapped - remember it ended in October, the economy continued to plunge after that. Retail is hurting big time. Retail items that are not necessities (can you think of a better example than interior design fabrics?) are not moving at all.

I think she is selling the clothes (and whatever else she can sell) because they are not quite as rich anymore but, because the biggest source of pride in her life comes from having more money than others, she has to present it as a thing she's agreeing to do to help out her fans, rather than admitting that they need to get their hands on cash.

Than you and I agree; there's something odd about paunchiness and it is exaggerated by the way she walks; and yes they all seem to be two faced except for Alex; and the Countess starts to make the remark, but pulls back and says something like oh that wouldn't be countless like, but... I think started it is just as bad as continuing it...
