I think Nora was a better choice since she was one of the worst two for two weeks straight.

Am I the only one who is sickened by how boring Alexandra is? Not to mention extremely limited. Her wedding dress was her Banana Republic dress fused with her envy dress! Ugh! Better to be outright weird like Austin than monotonous every bloody week!

Hey guys/gals - everything's cool, right? This is just a discussion board after all, right? I would like to thank you both for not going the nasty &%$#@! route - that's the easy way, isn't it. You're both better people than I

[PaleFire76 - I like your name, very visual!]

Now come on paillette, you've got easy fodder tonight and have yet to call me on it! Ok ok, yeah, you don't have to - it was too obvious! If she had let him have free reign though, he would have gone to town!

Wait, my daughter's watching the rerun...OOOOO! This is very sad to say but I can't look at that dress anymore. He's still my baby, though!

This is the first time I have been on here and this is the 5th show I watched - I'm going to look around at all the other posts but first I want to say..I completely think the top three will be kara (she might even win), Austin (my favorite in ways), and Jay. Now Jay, I was not impressed with in the very beginning and frankly, I hated his "envy" project, however - when Jay has really been challenged to do projects that are very NOT what he would choose to do, he has shown amazing creativity, and talent. Especially that empire state building dress - beautiful, and he really thought he was going out on that one, and on this last episode too, but he manages to stay true to himself while completing the projects and in a way, I think that if he wins, this show will really have given him even more as a designer. I do love Austin, but Kara has shown amazing talent. Wendy, I just am not that impressed with. Even the Bananna Republic Dress, although beautiful, was very "mainstream", and was just not all that impressive to me. And, as to Tim's comments on the website about the designers and the comments on the message board about the wedding dressed not having sleves - I am not a great sewer but I have sewed and sleves are a pain and certianly time consuming, even if you are an incredible sewer, much less if you are also trying to design and shop and everything else!
FashionBoy1975
I can shoot myself for missing Episode #4 when it premiered. Of course, tonight when they were re-running, stupid me turns the channel to Bravo too late; I catch the remaining half-hour of it.

It's too bad that Vanessa got Auf Wiedersehen'd, BUT admitting you don't that much prowess in sewing is going to bite you in the ass in the end. Still, she took her loss with maturity and that I liked.

Now after seeing tonight's episode, I guess Nora had to get cut sooner or later. I know there are people here who grew tired of her behavior. She never bothered me at all. With me, I find that my perceptions of the designers evolves with each episode. Austin is still my favorite designer but that dress he made for Joy (right?) was so tres gauche. I was afraid he'd get canned but then I realized how the judges were all in unison with regards to Nora's dress.
fashionflop
Have you read the "Tim's Take" on the message board for each of the aired episodes? He's very funny, and he makes me, a total fashion flop, feel like I have a clue. I generally agree with all his insights, both personal and professional. Maybe that's why I like this show--the challenges are entertaining and most of the clothes are wearable. Or they would be, if I were 5'10".
fashionflop
I thought Alexandra's fussy, wedding cake confection was pretty ugly, too. But Austin's was freaking scary. Come on, that thing defies description. Toss a peacock and a cow pie in blend and whip. That was Austin's dress.

I truly think that unless Kara and Jay screw up royally, they'll be in the top 3. The other position will be between Robert and Austin.
fashionflop
Nish, I think the judges (at least the repeaters like Kors, Nina and Heidi) are judging on overall performance. I think that's why Robert's ice cap/safari BR dress didn't get him booted--his Envy outfit was strong and well done. I think Nora's melodramatic bawling and her overall attitude helped to get her eliminated this week. Clearly, Austin's design was the worst, but he's won one challenge already and has shown himself to be a consistent (if flamboyant) performer. I'm most upset about Vanessa's departure. I think she's talented, and she demonstrated an integrity and class by not ratting out her friends last week. And I hope that Wendy learns from this experience. I'd hate to have her child (daughter?) see her mother's devious behavior as acceptable. She's shown a total disregard for the other designers, despite Kara's generous coaching and makeover.
Bethsoda
At least Austin's was original, and he even said himself he was trying to show the judges that he could do something that was not so "him", which, in this case, was a bad move, still, it does show versatility, and he did still have his own vision while also going with hers. And plus - it wasn't HIM that designed that fabric!
Also, it could've had SOME poof, but not that awful train...
Now Nora's dress, was just nad wedding dress that you could buy at sears or something - First of all, she could've integrated roses into the dress without putting roses on - for example using fabris with some sort of rose motif, which, depending on the fabric (which, again, like in Austin's, can surely make or break a design) could've still be unique and beautiful and more importantly nora, without being, well, a kind of ugly dress. Although also, I don't feel as bad for Nora because she does have talent and she is so young, she has so much time to make something of herself and I'm sure she will in some way shape or form.
FashionBoy1975
I think Kara's dress was the best one for the wedding dress challenge. I love the shiny fabric she used (forgive me for not knowing the proper term for it) and the color was nice. The front and back of it was sexy and Kara-esque; reminiscent of her winning dress at the bid at 30 Vandam.

I agree with you fashionflop regarding Alexandra's tiered nightmare. That was her mediocre design to date; not impressed by it at all. I'm not surprised the judges let her off the hook because I've found that some designs that I thought sucked apparently were good enough for the judges and they were excused from being put to the elimination squad.
jescci
In two previous episodes the judges criticized some designers for not sticking to the instructions or the customers' wishes. Then in tonite's episode Tim made it quite clear that they should listen to the client only to a point, but remember that in the end it's their vision and creation that will be judged - totally contradictory advice.

Alexandra's stuff all has this pale-colored, twenties-flapper, lose-fitting, shapless, low neck look. Wouldn't be suprised to see her go next.

Jay is impressing me more each week with his intellect. He's goofy on the outside, but deep-thinking, analytical and logical on the inside. Wonder if it's a business sense - inate or culled from experience at his store.
SeptemberRain
Tonight's episode was very revealing. I think it really showed who has true talent. Nora was destined to go, and her Sears-esque wedding dress was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

I have completely changed my mind about Austin. I believe that he has in fact very little talent or fashion-sense. He created a horrible-looking costume despite the fact that everyone kept telling them to keep in mind that THEY are the designers, not the models. I think that Austin will be gone very soon.

Kara's dress was absolutely beautiful, and deserved to win. I believe that Kara will be the ultimate winner of Project Runway.

Jay's wedding dress was gorgeous, too, despite having to work with Morgan. He really showed a talent for steering the client in the right direction.

Robert's wedding dress was very pretty.

Wendy's dress was [expletive deleted]-hum. I'm guessing she will be gone soon, also.

Alexandra's dress was too similar to all the other dresses she's designed on the show. I'm thinking she may not last very much longer.

Kevin's dress was pretty, but not outstanding in my mind.

My new picks for the top three are: Kara, Jay, Kevin.
Chii
Tonight's show was indeed interesting.
I am quite glad that Nora left rather than Austin. She was cool because of her punk attitude, but on the group design when she broke down she lost my favor.
As for Austin, well, he is still my favorite designer. i admit i was very disappointed in his "creation", but it was one mistake. I am really hoping that he will redeem himself in the next challenge. (and might i add that even though the rocker chick in the previous challenge didn't really fit Austin's design, if it had been for some other challenge Austin would have rocked it! I think that outfit is adorable and i would so buy it. happy.gif)
I am also very glad that Kara Saun won. Her dress was amazing. It was honestly perfect.
As to who i think might make it to the top, i believe Kara, Mike, and depending on what Austin does next week, possibly him. And if not Austin then Robert.
As for the other designers, i think the only ones i haven't mentioned are Wendy and Alexandra(i think that's her name), i sort of want them to be judged off. Wendy, i just don't like. I admit that this wedding dress and the Banana Republic challenge she had some good designs- they could have been better- but i just don't like watching her or hearing her comments.
Alexandra is just boring. She seems so innocent and she really puts it in her work. I think the outfits she makes are ones only my grandma might wear. She's just not adventurous in her style. I mean, has she even won any of the challenges?( i honestly can't think of one, but then there might be a void in my memory).

And to top everything off- i just want to say that this show is great. And that comment is coming from someone who HATES reality tv. I absolutely hate it. If this show didn't have all the commentary and drama it would be better off, but i still watch it every week...
Gracie
First I want to say that I think Jay has amazing talent and vision. I want him to be the winner, but if he is not I really believe he will go somewhere.

Cara's dress was gorgeous tonight! Very in the times...noone wants poofy anymore....what was Nora thinking? I didn't think her dress was ugly per se, just outdated.

And I completely agree with (can't remember who said it) that Alexandra's dress looked like everything else she has done! All of her pieces are layered and flowy....same ol same ol.....

I really liked Wendy's dress! I think she does a really good job of staying within the guidelines of the challenge and sticking to her own style.

Rob and Kevin I don't know about....not really crazy about anything they produce. I'm very surprised they are both still in.

And last but not least...dun dun dun....Austin. UGH! Such a drama queen...and his designs are...well...kinda goofy...like him. But he's young, so hopefully the show will teach him something and he'll be successful. But he definitely needs to toughen up a little...the fashion world is not for wussies.
corprip
I just saw a commercial for the next episode, and Jay goes nuts. Looks like he beats the crap out of Austin. I really hope its just clever editing and not some high drama tragedy that gets Jay booted for non-fashion related crimes.

As for tonight's episode, we all knew Nora had it coming. Poor Austin. He really got screwed by his model, and adding that train was a huge mistake. It lookes like a slug trail on acid.

I agreed with Tim about Wendy's use of asymmetry. Too much. I also agree Alexandra's was boring, and I'd add kind of disgusting.

Kara's was nice, but I really felt she could have finished the front just a little different where the rhinestones came together.
Loomchick
Ah . . . a glass of wine, Project Runway, and thou . . . what more could one ask for?

I really enjoyed the episode . . . I'm glad Kara won . . . Yippee! Most of the dresses I thought were mediocre . . . but, then how does one balance designing a wedding dress of their dreams for a model that's barely out of puberty with the demands of a reality show? Yuck!

Poor Nora. She really did lose herself in the design . . . it was good to see Jay compromise . . . Austin??? What was that? I guess I'd have to focus back to the model . . . was she serious? I can't imagine wearing it to get married.
SystemBusyTryL8r
I was really sad on the last episode to see Vanessa go. At least she was honest with herself. Rather than complaining that she's a weak sewer and making such a point of it, she should have used the opportunity of working with two strong sewers to increase her ability. I really liked the designs that she had.

Nora, however, worked poorly with other people and really showed her true colors. She was dishonest (in saying that she didn't accuse anyone of stealing the pattern piece, which she did) and she was irresponsible for her actions- putting the blame on Kevin. Kevin may not have been the best of leaders- he should learn from the experience- but Nora still has to be responsible for herself. In spite of the fact that I liked her previous designs, I was happy to see her go.

Alexandra is never one of the best never one of the worst, which means she will never be in the top 3. I rated her dress the worst this week- it is the most unflattering design I have ever seen. The beautiful model looked like she had no figure at all. The only thing good to say is that the design was well executed and put together like a pro. I wish there was a ZERO on the rating scale for this design.

I still think Austin is one of the top designers. I am loving Kara more and more with every design. Whereas I did not originally like Jay, I now put him in the top 3.
NYstyle
Anybody that watches this episode and still likes Austin's style has Gorilla taste. His Banana dress was not designed with Banana in mind. His Rock'n'Roll dress was horrible with his fairy tail dress, and this week was horrible with his green mini wedding dress/mini skirt. I really enjoyed Austins designs until the past 3 episodes. He doesn't seem to design well for clients.

My new pick is Kevin. He has proven that he is versitile and consistent with his designs and doesn't lose his style with the clients ideas. He has never been on the bad side of the judging.

My top three are:
Kevin
Kara
Jay

You are absolutely right about Wendy. She strikes me as very manipulative and unkind. She tells people that she likes their design and then tells the camera how horrible she thinks it is. Like she wants to help them lose. (A good contrast to Wendy is Kara, who, when she overheard a model complaining about the designer's idea, said, "Wasn't that lace really expensive?" to help the other designer.) A couple of the other designers tried to help Wendy with her look and this week, she was right back to the gawdy blue eyeshadow and pink blush. I think Austin got a little taste of her true colors when she tried to say he was weakest of their team.
LibraAngel1
I enjoyed this weeks show & the interaction between the designers & the models.

I was very happy that Kara won the challenge. Her dress was really awesome. I also must say that Kara has been really consistent with her designs & she has yet to be really involved in a ton of drama. She is definitely one of my picks to win it all.

Robert's dress was my 2nd favorite. Infact the 'wedding' dress is his strongest 'solo' effort (imo).

Wendy's dress was also nice. But I do not care for her whatsoever. From her trying to come up with strategic moves as if she is on Survivor to just her fake personality in general. Also it's a toss up between this weeks 'wedding' design & her B.R. dress that could be considered her 'strongest' effort.

Austin is so dramatic. His mini meltdowns are quite humorous though. Moving on...What the heck was he thinking? To be a designer & let the client totally take over without any sufficient input with your own design is a complete no-no. There was no balancing act, he just let Julia takeover. Hopefully he has learned a valuable lesson. *smdh*

I liked the top of Alexandra's design. Yet the wrapping of the bottom reminded me of when I was about 5yrs old and I would wrap myself up in extra curtains that were in a closet, all the while pretending I was wearing a amazing dress. Point being..cute but not an impressive enough design. To be honest none of Alexandra's designs really stand out that much to me. Her best has been this weeks wedding challenge. Hmph...

Although Kevin was a bit shaky on the idea of Olga's mindset for her dream wedding dress...I actually kinda liked the outcome of the design. Yet Kevin is someone who also isn't impressing me so much. I'm sure he was thankful that he had the 'free pass' for this weeks competition.

Jay's dress was just 'okay' to me. This was definitely not his strongest showing, but I'm glad that he advanced since he displays an 'it' factor.

Lastly, Even before Nora's crying fest last week, I couldn't really consider myself a fan of her earlier work. Sure she was considered hip & all, especially with her own appearance which can draw one in..but I wasn't impressed. Though her dress was very traditional & boring it was still pretty. But her being eliminated was the right choice to me. After her meltdown last week, I was surprised she didn't get the boot then.
SystemBusyTryL8r
Good point about Austin. I liked the Banana Republic dress. It was too froo-froo (sp?) but if it was solid and not floral, that would have helped. I will admit he bombed this week. He could have done something more non-traditional and still made it at least look like a wedding dress. I would say you are right when it comes to his ability to design for a client, which of course is a crucial element to fashion design... I still rank him one of the best.

But your point about Kevin is well taken. He is very versatile. Maybe I don't favor him as much because I don't dig the soft-spoken types. I would have been more impressed if he showed stronger leadership last week. I'm interested to see what he will do next week.
Tacwamom
Austin stays and Nora goes, i was biting my nails that Austin would go, but that would cost viewers! Jay sells and so does Kara. I liked Wendy's dress this week, not meaning to be unpopular, she is not winning points with anyone and even with talent she'll be gone before top three for sure. I guess Kara, Jay, Kevin if he finishes all his designs on time.

I totally agree with you about Nora and her being the right choice for elemination. I don't think, however, the traditional gown was boring. She gave her client exactly what she asked for. What I don't understand is, why did she use BIG roses. Wouldn't appliques have been a better idea or perhaps material with roses already compressed into the fabric? Nora totally buckled to the "client" and then bad mouthed it behind her back. If she knew it wouldn't work, why did she praise the client? It is Nora's job to tell the client that the idea is good, but let's do it this way or the idea is bad, this is how you will be the most stunning. If you're out there Nora, you blamed your failure on your client's vision. You need to step up to your responsibility as a designer.

You make some really great points. The reason why I felt that Nora's design was boring (to a degree) was because when one of the judges mentioned that a dress like that could basically be found in any other store that sells wedding gowns..I shook my head in agreement. But you are right..she did do exactly what her client wanted.

Also what struck me about your last sentence to Nora, was that when Tim told Jay to not go out there and place blame on Morgan for his design, Nora was listening in. Too bad she didn't take into consideration what he was saying pertaining to her own work.

Considering that she did indeed go above & beyond the duty of pleasing a client, while sacrificing her own vision as a designer.

HOw I feel about the designers: update.
Kara is my favorite hands down. Talk about maturity and grace. I fell for Jay's personality at first but there seems to be a glitch... he seems like he could be a big [expletive deleted] like Kevin if you rubbed him the wrong way. I'm dissapointed in Austin's attitude. Gay or not the boy needs to buck up. I was sad to see Vanessa go because she reminded me of me! Wendy has bothered from day one. I don't know how I feel about Robert and Alexandra. I wish Alexandra would get more involved so I can see who she is. Kevin- no way man I totally dislike him, I feel he handled the Nora/missing piece situation like a big jerk and could've handled it a lot differently- I guess the big turn off for me is what seems to be his lack of a sense of humor. And as far as the Wedding Dresses- Kara and Jay's designs were my favorites. Sorry for the crappy grammar guys- I actually had to look up the word naif which I either saw in this board or another one- and let me just say it's my new favorite word. Props to pompous literati!
loonaloo
I went to Kevin's website and oh crap I may hate the guy's personality but I love his spring collection. It is very Marc Jacobs and I love it! I would wear every stitch of it! www.emusestudio.com (I was directed to it via another post.) So if I made some mistake don't harass me!
iggystar
I was about to post the same thing! To me, Tim's Take is essential to my viewing experience. His writing is eloquent and intelligent but he doesn't talk down to the reader (who probably aren't fashion guru's like myself). He breaks down the design process and mentality and has helped me understand the designers (and judges) even more.

Each morning after a new episode I get on the computer and go straight to Tim's Take. I wish they could add a short segment on the show where Tim could do his thing!

I hope you read the boards Tim, because I love and appreciate your insight!
violin
Is it just me, or did the clip of Austin and Jay's "fight" next week seem completely fake?
violin
Poor Austin. His design was a very weak one and an eyesore. He needed to infuse a bit more of himself into the dress instead of letting the model compleletly take charge of the design. Maybe, he could of suggested just a more subtle color without compromising entirely the model's concept. I knew he wasn't going to be eliminated, though, because I recalled when the clip that was shown for the upcoming season. A part was shown with Austin dancing with a mannequin. That hadn't taken place yet, so I knew he was saved, thank god.
RGRRGR
AUSTIN'S DRESS WAS HORRIBLE AND THATS EVEN CONSIDERING THAT HE WAS KEEPING HIS CLIENTS IDEAS IN MIND. I FIND IT AMUSING THAT EACH WEEK WHEN HE CONTINUES TO SUBMIT SUB-PAR DESIGNS, THAT PEOPLE KEEP ELUDING TO HIM BEING ALLOWED TO CONTINUE BECAUSE OF "HIS TALENT". I HAVE YET TO SEE SAID TALENT, AND I AM SORRY, BUT ONE CORN HUSK DRESS DOES NOT A DESIGNER MAKE.
traceylina
I have just joined and have not been able to read all the posts before this, yet I have been watching since day 1. So I dont know if someone has posted exactly where Jay's store in la (?) is cuz I wanna go if it still exists after this. Where is it???

Whoever compared Wendy to Debby Harry, please do not ever do that again, that is just so wrong.

I have to say this: I love Jay! I love Jay! I love Jay! and although I guess (we can assume that) hes not gonna win, I think hes awesome, and I will cry if he doesnt make it to the last round. He has an awesome personality and his designs are great. I think hes pretty hot too. too bad im not a dude.

I have a feeling that kara will win. Everyone else (other than jay) either doesnt really stand out enough, or just has too many flaws. she is creative, talented, and smart- she has the expereince. I think this last episode explained it all. but who knows.

I like alexandra's (sp?) stuff as much as anyone else, but does anyone else feel that the model whom shes had chosen now a couple of times doesnt really seem to do her dresses any justice? Something seems off, her posture or something.

I guess roberts kinda attractive as well, I guess, but in a sleazy kinda way (no offense) cuz, I dunno, I have a real soft spot for pony tails.

But Jay is the only one I truely love. Kudos to him for dealing w morgan, i guess he has to again next week....?
paillette
I LOVED jay's dress. I think he lost points because it was too long and Morgan couldn't walk in it -- a legitimate critique. But the simplicity and minimalism of it, combined with the beautifully layered hemline, was superb. My favorite by a very generous factor.

Kara's also was lovely, and since her model also could walk, she deserved to win. Loved the oyster color and the columnar shape. Since the elimination of Vanessa, I've thought that these two were the ones to watch, and they proved that last night.

Alexandra's at least was interesting. I liked that she wasn't following the traditional wedding dress look -- it stood out from the others.

And Austin. Even I, the most vocal Austin critic of all, was surprised last night. I've never liked his style, but I've always thought his designs seemed like very good examples of what they were. But last night's offering was just incoherent. That's the word I keep coming back to: none of the parts of the dress, or the shapes or colors seemed to be well-chosen to harmonize with one another. Why hot pink with teal? A mini front with a long lumpy-twisty train? And the chains?

TTB: I'm sorry you had to see that.

HOWEVER: I agree with the elimination of Nora. Her dress was (A) typical marshmallow wedding style, circa 1982, with nothing couture about it; (cool.gif wearing the model, rather than being worn be her. What was she thinking?
jj2110
I'm so happy that Kara won. She had the most beautiful dress! I liked Kevin's second and Robert's third. I definately think Kara is going to win. She has great style, I really loved her yellow dress she designed (didn't she win that one too?).

Jay's dress was okay. I mean he really could have made it A LOT easier for Morgan to walk in, but remember he was saying he wanted to sabatoge her, so maybe that was his way of doing it? But, it was just to plain for me anyways.

Kevin's was beautiful even though he had a bunch of diamonds on it, it was great.

So, I think the final three will be Kara, Kevin, Jay or Robert. But definately, Kara will win. I'm crossing my fingers!

Things I would have liked to see:

A Vanessa Riley wedding dress.

A Kara Saun rock n' roll design.

Also Nora's rock n' roll design: "a girl who ran through a chandelier" sounds cool.

I agree with all of that . . . I also would like to have seen the a wedding dress of the designer's vision instead of the (generally) awful ideas from a bunch of girls . . . I would love to see what each of them would have come up with on their own . . . Yes, I know a couple of them parlayed more of themselves into the design than others . . . but, I would love to see what Jay would do given free reign . . . and Kevin could come up with something much better if he didn't have to deal with the Las Vegas vision of a wedding dress . . . and I would like to have seen what Nora would have some up with on her own.

Thanks paillette...>SNIFF!<...*wipes away a tear*. No it's not allergies, it's the dress - I really can't look at it! Austin didn't like it either. The only one who did like it was Olga herself and I was gobsmacked that she wanted to wear something like that for her wedding! I knew he was in trouble the minute she said "leopard". A fellow Thom wife called me when she got home, she taped it and wanted to know if Austin is still on and I said, "he's still there, but that's all I'm gonna say."

The smartest model there was Jenny because she trusted Kara and said "do what you do" - that's all the models needed to do, just say "do what you do". I thought Wendy's (still can't stand her) dress was beautiful. The way the skirt flowed and the asymmetrical cut in the back was lovely - different but very wedding. I liked Alexandra's also because of the flow factor. Don't know, maybe it's just the romantic me but I picture them for an outside wedding where the wind is blowing - I'd want something that flows in the wind and these dresses look like they can handle that kind of movement.

Normally I like simple like Jay's but 1. Morgan looked washed out in it and 2. it wasn't bad but needed a little more of...something (besides the skirt hitch).

Coming off a QE high from earlier in the week, good thing after seeing this episode!

Tim does great takes on this site. I like Tim a lot and I love when he visit's the designers midway through their design and questions their visions. He is sorta saying sometimes, backhandedly, "Um, I don't think so."
Kara Saun has proven herself week after week. What's up w/ Alexandra? How come they never talk to her? I also enjoy seeing them away from the sewing machines and out at night.

For me, Tim's the best part of the show for me . . . I love his "post-game" review . . . I learn from it and it validates my opinions of what I observe on the show. I design and weave "art" fabric that I turn into one-of-a-kind garments . . . and I would love to spend an afternoon with Tim to get his feedback, direction, etc. I'm sure it would be invaluable . . . in the meantime, I'll have to be happy grabbing every Tim tidbit I can get from the show.

I agree this episode revealed alot on talent and personal life. I love Robert, but before the last episode I thought he was gay. But he mentioned his ex-wife, in that he made her dress for their wedding and then his crush on Alex Videl. But he pee's sitting down in the morning, and the way he wears his hair in that bun is female like, and a few other things too. So what do you think , is he gay, bi-sexual or straight. He keeps me guessing ( he said he was sexually frustraited, and he is into Alex Videl). Anyone have any info on him?

Hey guys/gals - everything's cool, right? This is just a discussion board after all, right? I would like to thank you both for not going the nasty &%$#@! route - that's the easy way, isn't it. You're both better people than I

[PaleFire76 - I like your name, very visual!]

Everything's cool! Thanks for complementing my screen name.

I agree. Austin is so weak and sobby, he would NEVER make it in the business, unless he hooks up with another wildly gay designer and/or a very rich backer, and heck- THAT never happens! He could make it. Nora's design was not that bad, she should have stayed in, she pleased her client, and it was very commercial. What's wrong with that?

I am so tired of Austin's drama. I think his wedding gown was horrific. I loved his Bo Beep outfit though and the cocktail dress he did.

Nora's dress definitely should have stayed in and knocked Austin out. But Nora is also really young and a bit of drama queen herself.

The one I felt the sorriest for though was Jay. His model needs rehab in a big bad way. Does no one else see this? She's so cranked up her grandkids are spinning. That chick needs to get dumped.

Robert is straight as an arrow, to lazy in the mornings so he sits, go figure. Loved the bridal dress and the envy outfit, could definately live without he BR dress, Robert what in the world was that..........wouldn't it be a good idea to get a tee shirt by now? if you're reading this Rob, WELL?

This show is completely biased ... I am sure they have pre-selected who they are going to award this reality show win to. I mean what the hell is wrong with the friggn judges... AUSTIN'S Wedding dress was a bloody hippy wearing a $1 dollar dress from a bloody pawn store and sewing some extra material on it ... IT WAS UGLY !!! and HE'S IN ?!?! BULL*&*@ MAN !!! I truly did like Nora's dress and they should have been no question in my mind for her to be in. It was beautiful and something a bride would definately wear, and she's out ... I lost respect for this show, for its lack of professionalism, Michael Kors, and everyone who's a part of it ... .bloody cra# show !!! And to Nora and other talented people who got booted, you have the talents, and you don't need these idiots to tell you whats good and whats not !!! I am so bloody disgusted !!! aghhhhh .......

I agree, NORA I LOVE YA!

Please, please, please take the designers out for a spa/make over day just so that Wendy can get a real hairdo with professional color and a make up class. I can't look at her on competition days cause she looks so completely unmade. She needs to take some lessons from the others on selling herself in addition to her designs.
