Uh oh! Watch out Wives of Thom! Get out of the way! I have a feeling the stampede of Kyan (Cayenne) Hotties has begun!
You Bet!
You Thom Wives can have the thread on the 17th.
....to be lovingly pushed out of the way by Ted's gentle fans on the 20th.
Speaking of which, and I realize this may be a tad last-minute, but I was thinking of sending Ted something for his birthday, I already have a card picked out, but I have no ideas what else to send him that can fit a college budget. Any ideas?

Well, not to advocate any RIAA malarkey, but why not a mix CD? He seems like quite the music head.
And happy birthday to Kyan!

Oh shoot I've been gone for soooooooo long. Happy Birthday Kyan hope it was special. Midnight do you have a Marshalls or a TJ Maxx in your area if so go there they have some nice stuff at fantastic prices. My husband and I bought a really nice Vase for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding anniversary. Get him something that has to do with cooking or if he has any other hobbies. Shaybo back and better then ever.

I think he looks GREAT in those whitish-clearish rimmed glasses like in some of the pictures where they are all dressed in white and posing with the picture frame. You can find them in the block calendar and I don't know where else. He should wear those more often!

I read on Naomi's site that the Fab 5 will be participating in the AIDS WALK 2005 in Central Park on May 15th. Another example of how our guys are selflessly dedicated to making this world a better place. To show support for their efforts, I have purchased the AIDS bracelet which is red and says "Hope*Courage*Faith". I don't have the website where the bracelets are available, but if someone else has that information, it would be great if they could post it for anyone who has the desire and the means to help.

This time, however, he's not just a guest but is actually hosting the show, subbing for John who's away. 10pm till 1am EST. Listen live on siriusradio.com (sign up for their 3 day free trial). I'm sorry, I have no idea. But "in" or not, I don't believe in wearing them; I think they wear out faster if they come with holes in them.

I'm no fashionista, but I think that look might be over. Lately I've been seeing denim skirts with the hem ripped off....kind of leaving a rough edge with threads hanging. Of course, if you are in fact a "dude", this might not appeal to you. Generally my feeling is, if you like it, if you feel comfortable and confident...then wear it! Oh, and btw....welcome to the board, rydude!

Hey rydude! Welcome to the boards!!!
Actually it really depends on where you are if they're in style. I know up here in Washington, just about everyone wears them. My own jeans are semi-destroyed, but that's because I like them that way, even going as far as cutting a hole in them with scissors. I thought that they wear out faster semi-destroyed, but my friend, who is a fashion designer, says that there's a sealer of some kind around where its destroyed that prevents it from getting further destroyed, but that is only if you buy them like that. There's probably some way that they can be sealed if you destroy them like I do, at home.

I would say that deconstructed denim, or "decons" as I call 'em, are still in but in subtle ways. Instead of gaping holes in your knees, try a little bit of fringing on the tip of the pockets or belt loops. That makes it so much more realistic and is a perfect match for the Bohemian Bourgeois a la MK and A Olsen this season.
Hope I could help!

Hey! The position I'm applying for is the Education Tour Guide so I'm the one who stands up in front of the guests and tells them about (typed that word about four times) the animals. I've always wanted to work at SeaWorld since I was there for an internship three years ago and was attacked by a penguin (hilarious). I know more about these animals than most people in the field, and I know how to use a mic, so there should be no problem with me getting the job.
I will be going up to the Huntington Beach area for the last couple days...spending a couple days with my bf there and will then go back down to San Diego for the interview and leave the same day.

Attacked by a penguin? I was onced honked at by a very angry duck when I was walking by the lake up at Edinboro...it was looking right at me, too! Now I don't feel so bad...
Anyway, Seaworld sounds like a fun place to work. They'd be crazy not to hire you! Good luck!

A thousand years ago, my husband and I lived on the San Lorenzo River in Boulder Creek (Santa Cruz). My son was about 9 at the time and, as we were standing on the river bank, a swan ran at him. I yelled to him to freeze and the swan bit him HARD on his upper thigh (could have been worse!). For years, Mark didn't let me forget it....."Mom, "FREEZE" works for bees....NOT for swans!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY HUSBAND, THOM!!!
To the man who takes my heart all over again every time he smiles, there are never enough words to describe my love for you so this medley will have to do...
"When I see you smile
I can face the world
ohh ohh
You know I can do anything" - John Waite
"Kiss me with your mouth
Your love is sweeter than wine
But wine is all I have
Will your love ever be mine" - Steven "Tin-Tin" Duffy
"Your body is a wonderland
(I'll use my hands)" - John Mayer
"If I gave you
diamonds and pearls
would you be a happy
boy or a girl
If I could I would
give you the world
All I can do
is just offer you
my love" - Prince
The present? Well Spunky (Cats4/slimcat) and I figured that Thom gets alot of things for his special day but what about his staff? So we made t-shirts of varying sizes with his company lettering, name, website, and his picture on them and sent them to his staff! Hopefully it is enough to go around. A basic design was used but the complex ones were like mega-company budget and a minimum of 400!
You should have heard Spunky laughing at me in the post office! We also bought him this...uhmm...uhhh...card (*blushing*) - IT WAS SPUNKY'S IDEA!! Kidding! It'wasn't anything beyond PG. It was one of those 2ft cards with a guy's torso on the front covered in candy and it said, "I know how you like your sweets...," then inside there were pictures of shirtless (and a little more) men and it read,"...so I bought you a variety pack!" Now Spunky and I wanted to put this card in the box with the shirts but it was too big! So little 5'2" me is carrying this big 'ol 2x1xsomething box and the oversized card and the wind is practically blowing me away while I'm on the phone with Spunky, when a gentleman comes to my rescue and carries the packages in for me. Ok, NOW I have to find out how to get the card in the box - which is not working. The post office worker suggests I tape the card to the box - BRILLIANT!! So I buy tape and bubble wrap and fight with both of them to try to get the card taped to the box. Spunky is laughing so hard I thought she'd have a heart attack! People are looking at me out of the side of their eyes, backing away, I could have sworn I heard one worker on the phone asking for security.
So I FINALLY have it taped all to Hades (and pull a few strands off myself) and off it goes 2nd day mail to Thom's company causing much joy, jumping up and down, and back relief for my self and Spunky.
Not waiting by the phone though, left no contact information - just hoping the shirts are cool with them.

Thanks girls but don't forget to send some lovin' Cats4's way!! None of this would have happened without her. I only had the graphic programs but she financed it. She's as light and bubbly as her name (Thom loves her that way!) and just a pleasure to know!
