I went here's the spill. their was a red carpet for them the limo pulled up the produces get out first. Ted was just getting back from cooking school in Italy so he was't there. once everyone got inside they mentioned how the piolt was flimed in Boston and what a warm welcome they recived. you had to have a vip ticket, wich was not mentioned in the adds to go in and meet all of them. after a while Carson want around saying hi to everyone, the others went into the back room. I follwoed him around had a pride balloon in one hand drink in the other. Thom came back out and I ended up saying hi to both of them, it wicked surreal

Thank you bileotter! Having read and thought about what you said, I must agree. QE is not the second coming. Most, if not all, of the homophobic bigots, who give the program 5 seconds of their time, will still be alive and well long after the program goes off the air.
QE provides practical advice on home and self-improvement and entertains at the same time. It's probably fair to say that many, including myself, tune-in primarily for the entertainment aspect of the program. Accordingly, a "muzzled" Carson might render QE a bland Martha Stewart knock-off.
In the final analysis, I'd rather take my chances with that closeted kid in Mississippi trying to get some exotic cut of ham (featured by Ted), out of his local IGA Supermarket, than pulling the plug on the program.
As some might guess my favorite episode, so far, was the frat house make-over at the Univ. of Texas. The closing comments by the fraternity president sounded genuine.
About tomorrow night's Boston Red Sox episode. Will Carson do his shopping locally, in Fort Myers, or drive the 90 minutes into Miami? I think we'll see Miami.

I do not understand your "final analysis" but I can tell you that prosciutto ham is not so exotic if you go to a Mom and Pop deli instead of a chain supermarket. (if that is what an IGA is) It costs more, but a little is so much better than a lb of generic! And I only buy it for hor'deurves and special because it doesn't keep that well but is sinfully delicious with pineapple in the summer..
My other comment refers to your moniker.. Do you remember Carson's remark on the show with the guy with the long hair - some "John?" and the bezerker girlfriend who threw out the teddybear? Carson said (referring to her micromini and hheeled boots, "A hooker from Trenton wants her boots back."
Is this significant? I have never been to Trenton.

Okay, I'm back...I have been to the website. (Sort of a twist on "I have been to the mountain"!). My eyes are definitely burning a hole in my screen now!!! That's a great picture! (Looks to me like Thom is starting to say something.......could it be.....?.....is he saying "Deb"....no....it looks more like.....yup, it's "Tomasulo"!) When I first looked at the shot of Jai, I thought he was dressed as a cop......in the immortal words of Paris "That's hot!"...but then I realized he was lurking in the background. Carson's curls......not so much....but he still looks adorable. And Kyan.....oh yeah, that face...that face........(swoon).....

Sorry about the picture of Jai, but, believe it or not, that was actually the best shot I got of him. The guy dressed as a cop was actually a real cop who was on duty. Anyway, I hope you get to meet them someday.

The fact is, there were a lot of people in the room and you couldn't really smell anyone except the people who smelled like cigarettes, of course. It's always easy to sniff out the smokers. To Carson, Kyan, and Thom's credit, none of them smelled like cigarettes.

Sorry, I don't have the money for a hypnotist. The thing about cigarettes, though, is if someone has been smoking, the smell is not just in their breath; it's in their clothes, hair, etc. I really don't think Thom had been smoking, at least not in that particular outfit.

I kept my eyes above the waist. I mostly looked at his face politely. And speaking of Kyan, he's actually kinda small in real life; well, smaller than I envisioned him anyways. Kyan's probably around the same height as Carson. But Thom is definately the biggest of the bunch, but you already knew that.

Yeah, I did but I love hearing it again....and again...and again. I'm 5'3" so seeing you standing next to him gave me a good perspective on what I would look like with him.....with him.......uh oh the mind is drifting away again.

But it wasn't prosciutto. Wish I remember the name. It was featured on the episode aired on 05-31-05. It featured a long-haired artist and theatre carpenter by day. Ted bought this cut of ham from a place called the Jefferson Market. He used it to make pizzas, from pita bread, for this guy's art show.
IGA Supermarkets is a licensed trademark and is used by a number of independently-owned ("mom and pop") markets, mostly in rural areas of the south, midwest and west.

I only got a quick glance at his hands, and I think the watch he was wearing had a silver band.

Oh my God!! I must be more careful when walking the streets! Actually, at my age, I'm lucky if I can give it away! A hooker with boots in this town makes perfect sense in the winter. When your John stops for you, there's the problem of getting from the sidewalk, to the car, by way of the 3 foot snow mound left by the plow.
Touche! The Butch (alright "tasso" ham} was/is my favorite episode! I have never to my knowledge had spicy tasso ham..
But I could get it mail ordered if I knew what to do with 10 lbs of it! Not that I would mail order meat.. with my luck I'd get mad cow disease from a promiscuous pig!
