It was just so great to see **THOM** smiling & laughing in the audience

Also, did anyone else notice that instead of having their dates with them, it looked like there were young women sitting in the chairs between the guys but it didn't look like they knew each other (?).....I don't know why I picked up that vibe exactly except that at one point, I could read Thom's lips when he leaned over and said, "That's so funny" to the person next to him, but there wasn't any of the familiarity that we've come to associate with Thom. Am I making any sense?
Think they might have been seat-fillers? I know the Oscars makes a big deal out of having paying people to fill up the empty seats in the audience; maybe the Emmys does the same deal. Hollywood, you know.
That's quite possible but it struck me as odd because it looked like the seat assignment people expected the FF to have dates with them and then had to stick in seat fillers.

Ted's cookbook has a $27.50 book price on Amazon, but is marked down to $18.15, and the editorial review does say that there are pictures. And check out the cute smile on the cover!

If any of you watched Jodie Foster on "Inside The Actor's Studio" you may have noticed some familiar faces in the front row: Kyan and Greg!
I saw them when they were standing when Jodie came in and the backs of their heads at various times and then a close-up of Kyan when Jodie said she hated shopping! That would of been funny if Carson would of been sitting there too when she said that! Anyway, what a pleasant surprise to see them there!

OK, now that's odd. I thought the audience for those sessions were all students. Are Kyan & Greg now taking acting lessons?
BTW, according to the schedule here that episode will replay at the following times:

Sat, Oct 1 6:00 AM JODIE FOSTER

But you have to remember that Carson was in the movie "The Perfect Man" and Kyan is supposed to be on "Living With Fran" this Friday so they could qualify as actors too? On the "Out In Denver" interview Kyan said he got the acting bug. I'm not sure on that show if it is just students but Jodie F. would be one of the top actors to hear advice from in my opinion!

Now my other viewing highlight last night! A friend taped for me "The Fashion Police" show that Carson and Kathy Griffin hosted. I finally got the tape last night and Carson looked really nice in his suit. And all I can say about the very end of the show is I wish I was Kathy Griffin! They did a kiss goodbye so to speak!

I did think about that, but still, I wouldn't say that makes Carson an actor. In fact, you could argue that his role in The Perfect Man was an extension of his television persona, which is supposedly based on his real personality, and doesn't really fit the 'pretending to be someone else' aspect. If he had more acting experience besides that one movie, it might not be out of place to have him on Inside the Actors' Studio, but otherwise it'd be an hour based on one small role, which would be a little odd.

I believe Inside the Actors' Studio has stretched its definition in the past to include "performers" and others in "the biz". I can't think of an example at the moment because it's 6:14 A.M. and, even though I'm at work, I'm secretly still asleep in my brain. Also, although the vast majority of the audience members are students, sometimes special guests are invited......and here I was able to pull an example out of my foggy little gray matter.....when John Travolta was on the show, James Lipton invited Catherine Deneuve and when the cast and creators of Will & Grace were on, the woman who had been the inspiration for the Grace character was in the front row.

Yes, I suppose you're right there. One role wouldn't cut it. Maybe if the movie roles continue who knows. Of course and I'm sure others would agree that when QE ends we would still like to see them on the screen whether big or small but if not they should do whatever makes them happy.

Kyan was at the Actors Studio taping as a fan, maybe a friend. I think he styled Jodie or did her hair for the show.
Kyan's on Living With Fran this Friday. He plays himself. Fran's character bumps into him somewhere, gushes about loving 'Queer Eye' and convinces him to do a makeover.
All the Fab Five, not just Carson and Thom, were at the Habitat for Humanity thing helping to build houses. They were all shown on the Today Show on Monday, briefly.
Sorry to be so brief. Busy!
