Did anybody see this? It was pretty good.
I remember when they all did "Good Morning Miami" a couple of years ago, I was seriously thinking, "Don't give up the day job, fellas", but Kyan was good on "Living with Fran". He looked great & appeared to have enjoyed himself! One of the few guys who looks good with a beard!
The show itself is a typical sitcom, but for anybody that watched it, I thought the fan thing was quite funny! And the "you can't, just enjoy your night, Cinderella" line was funny too.
Good job, Kyan!

I watched for the first time.....ok I'll admit it was for Kyan....and he was great for his part on the show....but the show itself was not that good,Fran was better as the Nanny....just my thoughts...

I admit I watched this show just for Kyan but I thought he did a wonderful job! I liked the "Cinderella" line too, lol! And I liked his beard look-yes he pulls it off well! Yes, wouldn't it be nice if Kyan could come to your house to give you a personal makeover, dream on girl!
Here's hoping to more future acting roles for him!

Kyan's on Living With Fran this Friday. He plays himself. Fran's character bumps into him somewhere, gushes about loving 'Queer Eye' and convinces him to do a makeover.
All the Fab Five, not just Carson and Thom, were at the Habitat for Humanity thing helping to build houses. They were all shown on the Today Show on Monday, briefly.

Since I stayed in the US for a 4-week vacation, I am a big fan of the show, but not able to recieve it in Germany. I bought the "Fab-Five-Collection" at amazon, but watching the best-of-scenes is not the same to watching an episode. Do you know a way to buy the episodes or even seasons on dvd? If you can help me please send a mail to wren@gmx.de

Hi Andreas! Welcome!
Unfortunately, the show is not yet available on DVD. If you go over to ebay.com, you might be able to find auctions for DVDs of the two episodes that were submitted for Emmy Consideration, but other than that, and what you already have in the "best of" sets, that's all that's out there.
Bravo/Scout: If you're reading this, PLEASE issue season sets of the episodes!

Have any of you caught the "Great Things About" shows this week? I'm pretty sure Ted and Jai might be on all of them. I taped the Tuesday one for sure but have caught some of the others and have seen them there also. Of course the Tuesday one was my favorite of all 5 shows! Just for Jai's "Mommie Dearest" quotes from the movie, lol! That movie is definitely a camp classic!

I got my copy of Ted's cookbook in the mail from Amazon yesterday! It looks really good! Besides the recipes, it has a lot of good common sense cooking tips. He has an introduction to each section, which is fun reading.

In one of my metro newspapers yesterday there were two small thumbnail photos of **THOM** and Car! It was an article about one of the furniture stores featured on the show, some outlet furniture...They each made a quote comment...I think the photos were from the Andrew L. eppy...
That made my day, seeing that smiley THOM

Hi there. New here. My main question is when is QE on as it is no longer on Tuesdays @10 p.m. I am in West Coast and all I see is re-runs on West Wing and a lot of poker shows but no QE. I do see the re-runs but nothing new for a long time. Can you assist with any info on new things and new time?

The show is currently on a mid-season break. Last heard, new episodes will begin in early December.

Would it REALLY matter if KYAN had a website? Most QE fans seem to primarily adore Thom (esp. here), Jai, Carson, or Ted. Kyan seems to be dead LAST in terms of his inportance on this show.
That's just the way it seems to ME anyway.....

Oh, I don't know about that. I've had a chance to meet Kyan at a book signing. TRUST ME! From the reaction he got, he has his fans! And, lots of them. (He seems like a very nice guy too!) Just because you may not see as much message board chat as you'd like, that doesn't mean he doesn't have his fans. Personally, I'll talk about him, and the others, on the few message boards I post on, but I'm just not into the fangirl chatter thing in journals, e-mails, etc. Sorry, but it's just not my thing.
And, just to let you know: Thom's official website is for his business (Thom Filicia Inc.), Ted's official website is to promote his book & appearances. Neither have fan message boards & the only mention of the show are in the biographies.

I will, however, share news of what Kyan has been doing lately.
He was the host of PFLAG's Annual Dinner the other evening. (PFLAG = Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). Haven't seen any pictures though.

Super, super interview, writerguy! I left comments on the slashfood site but I may have goofed it up a little. When I checked it out later, after my comments it says 0 Stars....I never saw the place where I was supposed to rate the article. If I had, I would have given it 5 stars (is that the best?) so I apologize. My bad. Note to y'all on the message board: the interview is GREAT and in the article Ted mentions that QE has been renewed! How freakin' great is that?!?!?!? BTW, writerguy, as I've mentioned a few times here on the board (a few hundred times is more like it, Tomasulo!), I have written a screenplay. Thanks so much for posting this - excellent interview! It was lots of fun to read, and I loved all the tangents you and Ted went off on. I had the same problem with the stars as Tomasulo, though - mine hasn't shown up yet but I never did see a place to rate it. So I mentioned in the note that it gets five stars.

No, the stars aren't for how good/bad the articles are, the stars are what each site member/poster gets. The more stars you get, the more chance you have winning prizes, etc. You get stars by making good comments: funny, insightful, clever, smart, etc. It's up to the site editors who gets stars. You can the list of readers who have stars on the right hand side of the site.

One of the design magazines, I am not sure which one, has a Top 100 designers. Has any of the Thom Wive's seen any photos of THOM? I think the magazine is House Beautiful...

I think it was a little bit of both since I read he has friends who are in the horse business up here. Yes, he was in my sister's backyard basically -wish I would of been visiting her that weekend! However, the paper mentioned his pants as not being very fashionable. Gimme a break! Does the man have to dress like a fashion plate 24/7? I would of been happy to have just run into him up there!
And people check out the November issue of "In Style" there is a pictorial of Carson at home including a pic of Carson in a bubble bath! I'm sure Note would pick up a copy of this issue!
