Actually, Kyan did mention he'd like to return to Manila "....to make over Pinoy men". Of course, that doesn't mean they won't "do Pinoy men" in there off time. (Oh, Tomasulo, couldn't you take the high road just this once!?!?! )

WELL, it certainly should be up by NOW, but I'm not going to shriek about it since last time I did that, I just missed the thread. Anyhow, if I had to guess what that piece of music was, (and I do have to guess as I don't actually know) I'd have to guess something by Debussy. It was awfully pretty. Very Debussy-like, anyhow.

Anybody out there among my beloved QE cohorts who also watch NBC's "Last Comic Standing"? I sent an e-mail to SCOUT suggesting that the Fab 5 "make better" Josh Blue who is one of the four finalists on that show. Josh has cerebral palsy and, in addition to being a gifted comedian, he is a member of the National Parlympics Soccer Team. Although I think he's adorable, his look and style could use a little tweaking by our guys and I think it would make for a hilarious episode as well as making a strong statement about people with disabilities. I'm not sure where else to go with my brilliant idea so if anybody has the power to pass this along to the suits who choose the QE candidates, I'll be your love slave forever. Josh Blue and the Fab 5 is an episode I'd love love love to see!

I seem to recall an episode where the five were making over a young just-married pastry chef. Kyan took on cooking, Jai did fashion, Thom - grooming, Carson - renovations, and Ted did culture.
But there doesn't seem to be any record of it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

You must be envisioning the future! I read something Carson said recently about them switching roles for one episode, so I bet this is it. He said he got Thom's job and painted the guy's bedroom pink.

....um...... isn't there some other way you could have phrased that? I don't like "Workout" either but the term "dike" is rather offensive. Probably not a word any of the Fab 5 would have chosen. Makes me wonder who really needs some "help" in the way of acceptance and education.

They were overhauling some young newlywed guy, and yes they did switch roles. They showed some past clips (because they were trying to one-up each other's work)
k, i'd better not spoil it for you all, or you might be liable to hunt me down and castrate me. I thought someone might've watched it too, and remembered which episode# or the guy's name or s'thing.

Yes,QE will be on next year 2007 for how long??? These episodes were taped from this year 2006 how many is anyones guess...what I would like to hear has Bravo asked for NEW EPISODES for 2007 and what is the contract status on the Fab Five,did they sign or not???? I would like one of the guys to post a response. Bravo is not always truthful...yes there will be episodes for next year like we want but how many???? Will Carson,Ted,Thom,Jai and Kyan be back????

I'm starting to think they're just trying to stir up some drama, since drama is what sells in TV World! I did just see an article where they quote David Collins - he says they don't generally order new seasons until September or October.

I know I speak for many on this bulletin board and many fans on this show when I say _ WHERE ARE OUR RECIPES???
Specifically, I was looking for the recipe to accompany Miles G. episode (fish with udon noodles). After speaking with numerous people on the bulletin board, it seems that many of us are extremely frustrated over the lack of being able to find recipes for episodes. It seems that it would be a very simple matter to put a “recipe” link under each episode like you do for photos, tips, and products. However, for some reason this very simple link does not exist. I had to through an extremely convoluted and time-consuming path to find any recipes at all, and they all seemed to be old, like from the first couple of seasons. If you are going to show us these wonderful looking recipes as part of queer eye episodes, please be willing to take the time to share them with us on the website as well.

JAI RODRIGUEZ WAS BRILLIANT!!!
I was shocked and delighted to discover our dear Jai Rodriguez performing on Fox Network's "Celebrity Duets." I haven't made time for Tuesday 7 pm CDT television in quite a while, but there I was flipping channels after the top of the hour just in time to catch the announcement that dear Jai would be one of the participants.
He was FLIPPING BRILLIANT!!!
I was SOOOOOOOOO excited to watch him positively LEVEL all possible competition!! TWICE the audience gave him a STANDING ovation!!! If I could have screamed loud enough to be heard cheering him all the way to L.A. - I would have!!!
This is going to be a weekly show, dear ones. Please be sure to watch so you can vote for our dear Jai to win!!!

I did not see Jai preform his first number.....but the second number WOW!!,it was hot and sexy...I'm glad he made it to the first round. USA TODAY said it was a summer replacement,just record it. It's not worth your time, thou the only one that had talent was Queer Eyes Jai Rodriguez. Have to say the others were not bad.... guess we all favor Jai and hope for his continued success.

I got an IM today saying that I had been put on file with a cyber-watch group and was now being monitored. Does anyone know if that's a permanent thing? This person and I were in the same Yahoo group but they un-subbed blaming me for "destroying the pleasure he got from watching the show". I was called "cruel, obsessive, psychotic, sociopathic, and self-absorbed". You would think I had threatened to do away with this person AND his entire family!
I was told there was no point in trying to make amends because I was so "cruel and sadistic". This is the ONLY person who has ever reacted to me this way in the years I have been online. After he told me I was legally eligible for monitoring (whatever that means), he actually THANKED me. That has to be the WORST experience I have ever had online...
To actually tell me I "why does your self-absorbed psychosis feel the need to destroy someone else's life " and to not "destroy QE for other people"?

Candy, I checked out this cyber-watch.org site for you. From what I saw, it looks like a site that monitors for copyright infringements & licensing protections. It doesn't look like any type of cyber-stalking (which you called it at Yahoo) monitoring site. Not that there aren't those types of monitoring sites out there, but I don't think this one is that. Hope you're feeling better. That must have been a horrible message to receive.

Did anybody catch this? I saw a little bit on ABC.com. They hit on just about every known stereotype. This story kinda jumped out at me because this is a main criticism QE has received, even NOW. I think shows like QE have made me not even blink an eye at behavior like Carson's! lol
Their sexuality has never really been a turn-off for me personally. But I have come to appreciate each of their individual quirks...

I noticed that tonights episode is the last of the regular taped episodes. No other episodes are scheduled. When will the last of the taped episodes from this year be broadcast? Also when will Bravo and Scout Productions release to the public and fans that the show ended back in June...no one has released information about Bravo asking for new episodes for 2007,and no news of contracts being signed. Their last appearence as a group was in Manila. It adds up to the End Queer Eye!!!!! When if ever, will Queer Eye come out in DVD seasons 1-4 ???

And no thread for Tuesday's episode, and now it's not even on Bravo's front page. You have to click "shows" to find it. I'm wondering if it will actually be January before they air the last taped ones, since they were making such a big deal about there being episodes on into 2007.
I know everything has to end and this is a brutal world for TV shows and they always get dumped for the next big thing, and it lasted WAY longer than I'd ever dreamed it would - but... waaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!
I think there needs to be a support group for those of us who can't cope with Queer Eye ending!

his life as he thought his wife would have wanted. I came to realize
this isn't the way it works. Any chocies that make you happy would have
made her happy. That's how love works, your own happiness rests heavily

he makes would make her happy.

I'm also a "sad survivor" having lost my husband in a motorcycle accident. I agree with your wise words. I believe it's a tribute to your loved one that you still believe you can have a good life. And if you have kids, it's a wonderful message of not giving up. I'm certainly not saying it's easy and 18 months is probably not enough time for most people to be ready for another relationship. Seeing that cloud over Jim's head reminded me of what that felt like. People expect you to move on and, out of love and kindness, they want you to move on, but everyone does it in their own time. Thanks to the FF, by the end of the episode, I could almost see a tiny piece of that cloud starting to lift. Some days are better than others and it's definitely one day at a time. Sometimes it's 10 minutes at a time. Jim has a wonderful support system and that includes Lauren and his memories of her. Jim, I honor your bravery and wish you all the best in the future. And if you ever make it to southern California, the Margaritas are on me. (The old Tomasulo is back!!!)
