Eric and Tracie was a decent episode too...even though she turned out to be pretty lukewarm on him. lol
Kyan seemed to enjoy himself too....a little TOO much maybe?
Was REALLY funny when Eric slipped and said he had been dating guys in Denver. Kyan was like, "He said it, he said it! We FINALLY broke one down!"

I am really enjoying watching the shows. I am not happy this is their last season. On that note, there is a little something funny about it on a post. It is for the humorous mind, but their talents are not under noted.

Ahhhhh!
It's been MUCH too long, everyone!
I figured that since QE had finally come back to television, so would I to the boards.
I hope everyone else from way back when does the same.
I really will miss the guys when the season is done.

It is almost too much to watch the episodes... I am just so thrilled to see them - and so grieved all at the same time!
The fact that they are airing two at a time is like, "OOPS! We're contractually obligated to air these - let's get it over with as soon as possible!"
Sigh. It's sad to not have Carson's old boards, either... and all of the fandoms have come down too...
Sigh.
Oh well... I'm just gonna end up walking through Bed Bath and Beyond crying again...
Peace. --De

I know - I'm finding it sad to watch, as much as I'm enjoying seeing them again. And I'm REALLY annoyed about the two at a time thing. I think you're exactly right - they're trying to get done with them as fast as possible. And everyone seems to have just moved on. Waaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!

QE, is one of our favorites!...except for one part...
rugby players (gay and straight) are apalled at the promotion of the "Rugby" store.
A store owned and operated by a man who took USA Rugby to court, to prevent USA Rugby from using the word 'rugby' even though this sport has been played in the United States since 1872, a couple years before he was born. USA Rugby is the governing body of the sport of rugby in the USA, this national organization has been functioning since 1976.
Rugby players all over the world view Ralph Lauren's (real name Lipschitz) Rugby franchise as as an abomination of our sport.
Even gay rugby players don't like it. Ask Gotham Rugby, Manhattan's openly gay rugby club.
Sincerely,
Mr. & Mrs. Bloodbin

Thought last night's episodes were pretty decent. Felt SO sorry for Ted when Kyan & Jai and Thom & Carson partnered up, leaving him by himself. lol
(Thom: "Carson's got his hand on my butt!")
But as always, like Ted said, with all of the things they did to help Ronnie....new clothes, new bedroom, haircut, getting his braces removed, etc....."WE rock!"
The Freaky Friday episode was my favorite. Was a PERFECT example that each of the Five should be appreciated for what they do. I think the switch went rather well myself. Too bad they will not have the opportunity to do it again.
Carson: Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
Kyan: Whichever one is smoking a cigarette!
And the boards may be gone...but there are still sites like TV.com and Television Without Pity.
I still wonder why I have found SO few "Kyanites". Would be great if KYAN had a website of his own as well.

candozier@yahoo.comI couldn't agree more! I'm remembering the chicken/egg comment--I'd never heard it before but laughed til I cried.
And yes, I loved how they changed their looks as well as their 'jobs' and still kept themselves as well. Very cute epi! I'll miss them.

It WAS sad, but they sure did provide us with many years of good times. I hate that this board dropped dead ages ago - it's very anticlimatic, just
ending like this. Especially when it really ended a year or so ago.
I'll miss seeing so much of NY too, and I've never lived there - only visited a few times.

I don't have Bravo so I couldn't watch the finale season but I am sad that its over,it was great and i love the guys so much you have no idea...but I heard from Thom on a radio interview I found on Youtube that there were actually 110 episodes but for some reason they only aired 100 O.o I don't understand why,if they have more they should air them all not just some if that is in case the truth that they do have more.

Welcome to the forum, dear one.
I am so sad to tell you that the show is no longer being produced anywhere. You are watching the very last episodes that were filmed in 2006.
This board will probably shut down too - since we don't have much reason to visit anymore... since the show is permenantly cancelled.
I hope you enjoy your last few shows.
We miss them here.
Peace. --De

Hello,
Do you have a pictures of the room that Thom did like this in Episode 104 of Queer Eye? I loved it then and would love to recreate it but I'm afraid to just go by memory. The website pictures are not view or downloadable for this episode.
If you could help. I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you.

The recap says:
Interior Design
Thom and Josh go furniture shopping at The Door Store (which, despite its name, offers a great deal other than doors), spotting a perfect suede sofa, a hip, geometric entertainment unit, and a great leather chair. These pieces and more come together beautifully in Josh's redecorated pad. A broad, horizontal stripe on one wall makes up for a lack of art, while a large brown square provides a stylish replacement for Josh's small, cluttered corkboard. A thorough scrubbing, a new coat of paint and a fabric shower curtain make a world of difference in the bathroom.

I know there's a dvd called " Queer Eye--- The Fab 5 Collection".
But it only contains 2 full episodes.
I REALLY WISH ALL EPISODES ARE AVAILABLE IN DVD...
IT'S SUCH A NICE SHOW!
IT WON'T FADE WITH TIME.
SO...WHY NOT PUBLISH THE DVD?

To: The "Culture Vulture"
Who considers "cultured" to be two tickets to the opera and insincere, forced social interactions? An individual who genuinely seeks to improve someones sense of culture in their life should introduce the idea of cultural relativism rather than material goods, quick conversation starters and tips on how to "work" a room. Encouraging the individual to ask questions so that they may better understand these people they're interacting with will ultimately improve the "straight guy/girl's" understanding of those around them and provide them with the necessary tools to avoid socially awkward situations. I applaud the gentlemens ultimate goal: To improve someones life, but I'm concerned that the misinterpretation of what "culture" truly is and how to become "cultured" fabricates a false sense of life and creates an artificially comfortable social setting.
I firmly believe that from intelligent conversation, arises a greater plethora of knowledge than heated debate could ever hope to generate.

Just wanted to let you all in on Jai's newest project...a show called "GROOMER HAS IT" on animal planet! It's especially appropriate to post here on the bravo boards as the show seems to follow the same recipe that bravo uses in the 'top ____' series that we all know and love even down to the elimination challenges. (who's gonna get axed on tc tonight??? )
Anyway, I found these links from another site for some previews of this show...I think it should be pretty great and we should watch it and support Jai
