Yes, it was on a weekday last year during my school vacation. Yes, I got the book signed. I got a few shot of my back with them. No personal autograph.

Thom has done work for the North Shore Animal League. Because of him, I was inspired to "adopt" a dog for which I pay a monthly donation. The organization sent me a photo and they send a monthly update on my dog's condition. Her name is Nina and she has cataracts as a result of diabetes. Nina has since been adopted by a real family but I still donate monthly to help with her medical bills. It's a wonderful organization and, after I adopted Nina, I sent Thom a note telling him about her and thanking him for his work.

A friend just sent me this by e-mail:
A Summary of the Election
The Democrats mistake was in thinking that a disastrous war, national bankruptcy, erosion of liberties, corporate takeover of the government, environmental destruction, and squandering our economic and moral leadership in the world would be of concern to the electorate.
The Republicans correctly saw that the chief concern of the electorate was to keep gay couples from having an abortion.

Isn't that the truth?? I read the other day that Bush's approval is really falling. Like well below 50% now - in the 40's, I believe. And I'm thinking, SO, people who voted for him have suddenly decided they don't like the job he's doing? So maybe it's occurred to them that voting according to THEIR MORALS rather than common sense wasn't a very good idea after all???
It is going to be a long, long, long four years. On the upside, after this the Democrats are probably a shoo-in in 2008.

Bravo witchgirl. I didn't vote for him last year, and god I was so hoping that he would go away. Going to war was the stupidest thing he could've done for this country. Not only that his views on same sex marriage and the woman's right to choose over abortion or the right to not have an abortion is appauling. I mean if were not careful we might end up being back in 1950s where you had to hide your sexual orientation and you had to go in a "back alley" to have an abortion. I cannot wait until 2008 where hes out of office and we can choose a president who is actually a tuned to the people's needs.

I don't live in the US, but I got so sad when I heard that Bush was the elected president... I really don't understand why and how ppl can vote for him... Please, if anyone here voted for him, forgive me, but I can't stand everything he's doing around there... I have a friend who lives in there, called Evelina, her dad, brother and uncle are in the middle of the 'war' and all her family is freakin out... I don't think that in the middle of the 21st century we'd have to solve things with wars and destroying other ppl's lives and families...
I really hope that in 2008 you can have a great new candidate for president so you'll at least be able to try to have some peace and real concerns about everyone who lives in there like you guys...
I'm praying so much for all the soldiers in this terrible war and I'm also praying for Bush, I hope God put on his mind a little bit of humanity and peace sense...

I doubt that being Italian makes a difference here. Most often, it depends on genetics. (There can be other factors) Most people I've known have had some gray hair by the time they're in their mid-late 30s. I also know some 50 year olds who have absolutely NO gray hair & they swear they haven't colored it. Me - I got my first gray when I was about 20!!

North Shore Animal League is the largest no-kill animal adoption and rescue organization in the world.
If you go to www.nsala.org you can read all about it and adopt a pet, donate, or shop for pet accessories. I heard about it because of Thom's involvement and I'm sure that, thanks to him, many animals have been rescued and/or adopted. Thom, in the words of Ted, "You da man!"

NAT, I saw your post earlier and then got involved doing other stuff (darn job!). When I tried to find you again, I got lost in a sea of design_daddy posts!!! She is one busy gal! Gotta love her energy! My daughter, Syd, likes QE but she's not a crazed fanatic like me. I think Jai is her favorite because he's the youngest and he's such a great dancer. My attraction to Thom developed over time although his resemblance to my late husband made him stand out. I guess I have a thing for Italian guys with dark, wavy hair and beautiful eyes who come from Syracuse, New York....who knew?!? Eventually it was Thom's humor, warmth, and sensitivity that pushed me over the edge and he was the inspiration for my screenplay. I just wrote down the fantasies that were forming in my imagination. Also....and this is kind of scary to admit....I thought that if my screenplay ever actually became anything, I would have to spend time....lots of time.....with the Fab 5. That would definitely be in the terms of the contract if anyone was ever interested in buying the rights.
I would love to ready your poetry and I'm thrilled you're willing to share it with me.

You know whenever he has that cheeky smile, or laughs, near his eyes are little wrinkles. So cute
DD
Heeeey, DD! Oh yeah, you're right about the little wrinkles!!! They're so very cute, and this is also my FAVOURITE thing on my Teddy, everytime he smiles, you can see the little wrinkles on his cheek, it's totally cute!!!

Do 34-35 year old Italian men get a little/a lot... grey hair? I wonder how much Thommee has??? If he uses any hair products??
DD
Well, I have a friend whose dad is 100% italian and is now 51 years old... I can tell you he has A LOT of grey hair, but he said the grey hair only started to show up by the age of 40, 45, so big Thommie still has more 10 years without seeing them on his head! But I bet he might use a few products to hide them, if he has them, of course!

Other than the 2 hip tips(robe and thread count)
Do you think Thommee is shy about disrobing-taking off his shirt in front of the camera? He outta show off his broad shoulders
I wonder what part Italian males are like about disrobing their shirts
I like seeing him barefoot w/ sandals-what mens size does he wear???
DD
Gotta tell you, I'm a 100% TeDelicious, but the eppy where Thommie gave the thread count hip tip, geez... I gotta admit, he's so very gorgeous!!!!
I don't think he's uncomfortable or shy about taking off his shirt in front of the cameras, even though sometimes he might have told that he doesn't think he's handsome, I know that deep inside he knows he's gorgeous, otherwise he wouldn't have this HUGE number of fans telling all the time that he's handsome, hott and everything, right?!?
I think he's hot too, in fact, ALL Fab5 are hot...! (But my Teddy is... MMmmm... WOW! hehe *wink wink*)
Kisses and hugs to you, DD!!!

Heeeeey, hun!!! How are you doing?!?
Geez, don't worry, I completely understand you when you said you read my post but couldn't reply... Oh my, it happens a lot w/ me too! Once I was at my boss' computer posting messages on the boards and I had to disconnect in light speed or else I'd get in trouble! LOL
Your daughter is right, Jai is an excellent dancer and I just loved all the hip tips he gave on the QE book, I love this book and everything the guys say in there, it's amazing! D'you have a QE book too? I bet you do!
So you said Thommie reminds you of your late husband? Oh my, he was really handsome, I wonder why you married him! Thommie is a very sweet guy, I love when he says "Pumpkin" on the show, it's so sweet and lovely!
(although I also love when my Teddy says "Duhlicious", it's very adorable too, but this is another subject...! )
You were definatelly inspired when you wrote that screenplay, hun! It was amazing!!! I can try to find some friends of mine who work and live in there, some of them work in this particular area (filming/acting/directing) and I can ask them some advices and even send them your screenplay if you want me to! (and if I find them, since it's been a few months since thet last time I talked to them... ) Let me know, okie? *hug hug*
Oh, about my poetry, I'll type them on my computer, maybe on Saturday or Sunday and then I'm gonna send them to you right away! I'm thrilled to share them to you too, dear! You're such an amazing person, so full of good thoughts and nice words, you're definatelly a sweet and I bet Thommie would love you if he met you! (as friends, before anyone says something! )
I'm glad that I met you, you're a very good friend!!!
Say hello to your dear daughter for me and tell her that she has such a great taste because she loves Jamie Oliver and cooks italian food!!! (oh and tell her that if she starts to like Teddy, she'll be 100% in my concept!!! LOL j/k )
Hun, lots of kisses and hugs to you!!! Have a bright and wonderful day!
