I love the music used on PR, but they use the exact same music in every episode and it would have nice for there to be some variety. Also, does anyone know the names of the songs used?

We've gotten a lot of inquiries about the "farewell" music played when the designers are eliminated and clean out their workspaces. Only slightly off topic, related to the downloads: is there any chance there will be additional screensavers released? I want JAY, JAY and only JAY.
Pretty please with sugar on top?
Anyone else wish they could have their favorite designer only?

There are often, as many as 45 different music cues in any one show, so we are limited by budget and time to create that much music every week. There are new cuts appearing occassionally, but often if the producers feel that one piece fits well, they like to use it similarly in other shows to create a cohesive feel. This week's episode will have two new runway songs. Also, Episode #10 should have several interesting new bits.

Biff, thanks for visiting the boards! Do you have any albums out with the same kind of feel as "Lose My Breath" and will there be any kind of compilation of the PR music? The opening theme ROCKS!

Biff, just to echo another post, thank you for visitng the Boards. Question - Like another very popular Bravo show (QE), are there any plans to produce a Project Runway Soundtrack? I'm crazy about the Runway music, as well as some of the other music featured on the show (Sarah Hudson, are you listening?). Given the popularity of the show, I'm sure a PR CD would be wildly successful. I'd be the first in line to get a cop!

A compilation would be grea! Sort of like the post-er above I do hear the same tracks repeating but I'm glad they do it. Every week I look foward to four or five different songs being played.
I'd love to have a copy of my own.

YEAH, I REALLY WANT TO HAVE THE MUSIC USED ON THE RUNWAY FOR THE WEDDING DRESS EPISODE! IT SOUNDED KIND OF TRIBAL AND NEW AGE OR SOMETHING. IT WAS MAGNIFICENT FROM WHAT I HEARD. I LOVE PROJECT RUNWAY!!! M. KORS IS WONDERFUL. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW DOWN-TO-EARTH HE IS. GREAT GUY!

I guess we'll have to see what the demand is for a CD of the show music. It would be fairly easy to put together. The hard thing would be picking from the 65+ different music cues to have a coherent CD.

Excellent! But if nothing works out, maybe we can order them on an individual basis? I like what I've heard so far and would order!

As long as each cue wasn't too long, I'm sure you could fit them all onto one CD or have a two-disk pack. Making the CD coherent shouldn't be too much of a problem. Listening to the show's music, I'm positive there are enough tracks to move from one feel to another, or perhaps you could go in chronological order of an episode. Like you could have track 1 be the opening theme, then move throught the episode and end with the runway music and then the goodbye music.

The lyrics go something like this:

I wish someone would tell me who sings the remake of "California Girls" that is featured when they air the Cotton commercials with all the mannequins!

I really can't stand the music in the hair/makeup sequences. The whole country/techno sound is so completely cliche and over. All the rest of it is pretty decent, but this particular song grates on my last nerve. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

OMG, I absolutely LOVE Project Runway and one of the reasons why is because of the awesome music!!!! I especially love the opening theme song, the runway theme and the music that is played for example when they show the designers getting up in the morning, sort of an afterhours chill out jazzy sound. All of it is excellent. Will there be a PR compilation CD sort of like the Queer Eye CD? I sure hope so. Please keep up the great work, the music is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the wonderful entertainment.

Who did the 3 final designers work with on the sound design for their runway shows? Or did they each bring their own music?
I really liked Kara Saun's runway music - hot sexy beat! If Bravo comes out with a Project Runway CD (they'd be foolish not to), that should be on it for sure. Or at least let us download it!

Hi...I just watched the last 2-hour episode, and congratulations to a great finale - is there any way you can let us know what is the name of the music that was used for Jay, Kara and Wendy's runway fashion at fashion week? I simply LOVED ALL OF THEIR RUNWAY MUSIC! The music rocked, and it would be great to know the name of the title and artist - if anyone else out there thought the music rocked too, please let bravo know...thanks!

i taped the episode and paused it toward the end of the credits and it said...Kara Saun's runway music written and performed by jason "jfk" flemming...Wendy pepper's Runway Music written and performed by Lisa Reagan...Jay Mccarroll's runway music written and perfomed by Erin Anderson and Thomas Carson. I haven't been able to find the music online or to buy, but if i do...i'll post it

I've had an email from the producer who worked on Kara Saun's music. he let me know that the music will be made available to download in the near future. If he doesn't post it here first, I will definately let everyone know when he sends me the link.
