Behind all that hair was a good-looking guy that completely shocked the family. What do you think of Brud's new do and clean-shaven new look?

Perhaps, but I think this guy needed a hair CUT! And, like Kyan said, it's only hair. Brud appeared very open to having it cut short, and I think his wife really liked it.

I liked Ted's shirt a lot, too.
And nice choice of music when Brud was getting ready -- "Touch of Grey" was just too perfect for him.

The previews of this episode were ok...but after watching the episode....unbelieveable.....Carson shirtless wow....Carson and Ted licking Kyans face,very sexy...Thom,the tie died shirt and jeans...wow..sexy...thud!! And Thom in shorts ditto....I hope they continue to show episodes like they have been. This was a loving and close family,and the change...wow..great episode!!!!
Personally, I thought Brud could have kept it a little long-sort of a madman genius look. But then Kyan cut his hair and I'm like 'Okay, that looks good too.'

I loved this episode, my god did he look incredible after the transformation!!! And Thom...OMG...he looked fantastic...and Carson in the pool (although I do wish Thom would have taken his shirt off....but that's another subject).....I think all around this was a great episode....

I thought the haircut was fantastic - I think that was the most dramatic change yet. He looked twenty years younger. And he really reminded me of SOMEBODY but I can't quite think of who. Maybe a cheerful and good-humored Ralph Nadar?
However, I have to say I was very weirded out by the spider tattoo on his wife's neck. EWWWWW!!!! I've got a serious spider phobia. And I DREAMED last night that spiders were crawling on me. EEEWWWWWWW!!!!
Except for THAT - what a great family! I'd want to move in with them, if not for the six people/one bathroom thing.

I LOVE Barry Manilow!! And who knew he was hiding under all that hair! Of course he looked like a younger version of Manilow but HOT nonetheless! They weren't kidding when they said a dramatic transformation.
HIGH *snaps* to Kyan because the hair was KICKIN'! Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! Tamed silver waves all over the place! I swear, when first looking at him, I didn't think he'd ever turn out like that!
His family is too cute and such a nice looking bunch! Loved it when the kids walked in and they all started laughing, especially the youngest - was it Andy? And the wife saying, "Is that your father?!" Classic!

LOVED the little backyard house! I'd put barbed wire and guard dogs around it to keep the kids away - of course knowing kids they'd befriend the dogs and slip through the wire without a scratch...I'd find them in there blasting Nelly on a sound system.

That was a really cool family. I'd love to hang out with that bunch. I grew up in a house with 8 people and one bathroom, so I can totally relate! You either get along great, or you hate each other. Luckily, we get along great!

I remember that someone posted a link to an article/interview where Kyan said that in an upcoming episode, the SG has a problem with Carson & Thom. I thought it might be one of the Texas ones, but it looks like this one. Bound to happen sooner or later. I'm just waiting for one of the proposal episodes for the woman to say "no".

It's on the left side of his chest. Very small. You can see it on a couple of episodes, but it's so non-descript that it led to many discussions of just what that mark on Kyan's chest was. LOL. (Personally, I thought it was a birthmark.) He explains in Beautified that it's a small tattoo of a spider that a friend gave him many years ago. (The exact quote is somewhere burried in the Fab Five thread. If I think of it tonight, I'll repost it.)

Welcome, dlc3007! Not sure if you're new to the show or just new on the boards, but Kyan doesn't always cut long hair. I'm remembering Tom K., Michael C., and, more recently, Steven P. I think Kyan is very good at picking up the vibe of the SG's and supporting them if it seems that they are ready for a more drastic change. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't........don't try this at home...leave it to the professionals...like Kyan.

During the filming, looked like Birkenstocks. I'm always happy to see them touting Birkenstocks, which got the reputation for being unfashionable hippie shoes for awhile. I LOVE them.

My daughter finally bought the Special Edition DVD for me a year or so ago because I would insist on watching it on t.v. every time it was on. I've loved that movie since it first came out and I remember it won numerous awards including best screenplay....a subject dear to my heart.

I didn't tell her this, but after she said that, I stopped listening because I got this fantasy visual of Thom in a fencing outfit!!! I couldn't say that to her so she just babbled on for awhile and then left. I knew I could share this with you guys since y'all already know how mentally ill I am.
