How can the show be ending all ready? does anyone know if there will be a season two or is it way too early to tell?

I have NEVER liked Jay Leno. What he said to Kathy was the beyond all comprehension. What a "richard". I think someone should take him out back and beat him with an ugly stick. Oh wait, someone already did that.
I do, however, LOVE Kathy Griffin. She is one of the funniest people ever. She is absolutely and completely underrated. Her show has definitely put new life into Reality TV. This is one of the few shows that I absolutely have to watch.
By the way, Matt is beginning to look like Lara Flynn Boyle. You both Rock.

I just found KG - my life on the D list podcast at iTunes. So far just the one podcast but I'm hoping this is the first of many.

I was wondering if Renee Z. felt she had hurt Kathy's feelings by refusing to accept an award from her? Then Kathy makes a joke, RZ feels like she needs to fix it and sent her flowers as a peace offering? Just a thought.

I've intensely disliked SJ since a Halloween episode where she was unbelievably judgemental and rude to INVITED Wiccan guests who performed a healing/blessing ceremony on the show. She referred to what they had done as from the devil. I thought Joy might slap her.

In our paper The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Kathy have not decided yet if there will be a season two.

Kathy you're great. But I've been doing a great amount of researching, studying, reading for late hours at night, morning, every hour on the clock. I've lost weight, I can't even think straight just thinking about this questions that has been eating me inside like maggots dining on fresh flesh. It's like the earth stopped turning and the one answer to this question holds the key to mobility. It's like alcohol on a fresh wound! I'm just in pain to get this answer! It goes… WHY DOES YOUR WHITE DOG HAVE SUCH A DARK BUTTHOLE? DO YOU CONSTANTLY RE-TOUCH IT TO MAKE IT LOOK DARKER? I HAVE 3 DOGS AND NEITHER HAVE A BLACK BUTTHOLE. IT’S REALLY BIG TOO. I hardly ever use message boards but I had to comment on this show! WOOOHOOO for the D-List! Kathy is awesome. I can watch the show over and over again and find new material funny. I don't think Kathy's stand-up is mean I think she's giving it back to whoever gives it to her. I love her from the Suddenly Susan days. She was the only reason I watched that show. I've seen all her stand-up. You have to see Allegedly! I laugh so hard my stomach was killing me! I love everyone on the show, Matt, Jessica, everyone! I hate the View anyway, except for Joy, I never can hear what the guest is saying because they are all talking at the same time. What's up with that? Kathy, hopefully you read this, your "Is not Nicole Kidman" was awesome. I'm from North Carolina but I'm not a Claymate, they scare me! Oh, and I'm only 5'3'' and get called "little lady" all the time, not cool. I might have been raised in the South but that doesn't mean I like being reminded that I'm short. Love ya, Kathy. Please come back for one more year, if you want to.

I don't get it... anyway you should blame the dog I think I saw him walk in the closet at the moment that you put the credentals in the purse.... And since he is sick you can't stay sick at him. The season finale was awesome. Seeing her watching the Oscars at the hotel was beautiful. I especially loved the "Project Runway" party. Hey, I like Wendy's clothes too. About Jay? I must admit, I agree with him. But only on the every day attire. I think the black on black thing is only just O.K. Usually, though it doesn't look as good as it could because the colors aren't really the same and it looks like blue on black. Honestly, it tends to irritate the crap out of me. But then I look at what I am wearing and the irritation fades.
And as far as the dress? I think he was just wanting to point out there are other colors to choose from. However, I don't think it was the time to say that...right before the big event when obviously the dress had already been chosen? Personally, I think the smart thing to do would have been to wait to see what she was wearing and then sketched some ideas and sent it to her. Geez, don't be critical right before the HUGE event. I wouldn't want someone trying to say crap to me right before a major event for my career. I probably would have had the same reaction that she did.
About the previous post...I think Jesus would have laughed along with us.
When is the next season going to be on? 6 episodes? So not enough!!

I love Kathy's show! The woman is so funny. What I don't understand is how she can dish it out but not be able to take it herself. The episode where she went on the tonight show and was so upset that Jay Leno was making fun of her looks. She's in the limo on the way home crying! What is that! Her whole comedy act is making fun of other celebs and she can't handle it when someone makes fun of her. Come on now Kathy toughen up!

I wish Kathy was on TV 24/7! She is hilarious... the sort of hilarious that makes me laugh out loud even when no one else is at home (which is rare for me!). I first saw her on Seinfeld as Sally Weaver--and i've been a huge fan ever since. I love the reality show!!! she's such a sweetheart! and her and matt are such a cute couple!
Also, Kathy if you are reading this--- you're not as D-list as think--- hey, even Jerry Seinfeld gets his name messed up (my dad swears that it's "Seinfield"

Thanks to Kathy for making me laugh at what really is unimportant. It just doesn't matter and that's what makes it so funny. Thanks for taking the air out of the balloons of these actors who profess to know it all and who want to tell me how to run my life and what type of therapy I need. Simply, thanks for the chuckles.
I came to the show because all the rest of what was on TV that night was junk. Plus I keep getting Kathy confused with that woman on Newsradio.
But I am glad to be a convert...and much more amazingly, I made my partner/husband/spouse/lover (after all, I am from Boston) a convert...actually heard him roaring on the Oscar jokes!
I hope you come back again...if not I hope you can come to my house for six consecutive Wednesday nights next year.
Plus we want to start the official fan club for Dennis and Tony. (btw..is there a Kathy fan club?)

As one of Kathy's three siblings, I'd like to thank all of you for watching "My Life on the D List" on behalf of the Griffin family. It's obvious that Kathy's natural sense of humor strikes a resonant chord in a wide range of people and I think that this series was an ideal way to showcase her abilities for everyone to enjoy. As family members, we're biased, of course, but we think that Kathy is one of the funniest people in the business. (And by the way, our parents -- John and Mag -- are not the raging alcoholics as Kathy jokingly portrays them. Okay, so now and then they like to share a good box of white wine. But what the he**, they're in their 80s so they're entitled to it.)

I haven't heard if Bravo has approached her about a second season. I do know that taping this one was very time consuming and took a lot out of her and Matt. Believe it or not, it wears you down to have a camera crew with you for 12 or 14 hours a day for 4, 5 or 6 days a week. For example, one of the difficulties is that you can barely watch TV or listen to the radio or any recorded music because of copyright laws. (You have to get a release from each broadcaster or record company just to use even a short snippet on the air.) My guess is that Bravo has been very happy with the response to the show, so we'll just have to see if anything else will develop. (I happen to think that her own talk show would be a pretty good idea, for example.)

I've never posted a comment about a show, but Kathy is HYSTERICAL. TELL YOUR FRIENDS! She is so great. I caught her show for the first time a few weeks ago, and I was hooked! I loved her bangs when she woke up hahahaha!
And what the heck kind of diet is her husband on because he looks great! You are FABULOUS KATHY!!
