I CANT BELEIVE THAT THEY KEEP THAT QUEEN AUNDREY IN THE SHOW! who does he think he is....would you honestly expect to see a little girl where a puffy dress like he dressed his model..dont think soo...look like she was wearing a freaking tomato!
Well, Andre's was bad, but Raymundo's was simply wrong for Barbie. What was he thinking?
I agreed with the dress chosen the winner... it was the best of the bunch.
And Santino didn't disappoint... his dress was just so-so but he FULLY expected to win!

I'm just so upset Raymundo is gone. He was so cute and just such a different image than the other contestants. It's sad that it only takes one design to get rid of someone. Hugs Raymundo, success to you !!!
Aundrey is just total DRAMA! GRRR..gives flammers a bad name! Santino is really good and I agree it was just so so tonight i was actually kinda dissappointed! LOL Raymundos was just UGLY as sin!
I feel a bit misled. The previews for this show showing Santino arguing with the judges and Zulema and Kara fighting weren't for this episode but for next week's. Why wasn't there a proper preview for this episode?
I feel sorry for Raymundo, it was too soon for him to go, but his dress looked like grandma's apron.

Emmett's dress was gorgeous! Santino crying in the corner....gotta love that. Nick's outfit was adorable and totally cute on the doll too. Good choice.

I agree, who does the earth boy think he is? Does he really think he's such a fabulous designer? He does have some good designs, but please, it's getting to his head.
I'm glad that Nick won. He had the right idea for Barbie. My favorite design however was the red dress by Daniel Franco. I loved the dress's color and swing.

MISS SANTINO needs to take a chill pill. Being Best and Being humble need to come together. and i think Nick is best for a doll. and Santino looks scary with that beard ? oh my god, a girl needs to shave !
Santino's stuff is really good but i have to agree..He is such a baby! He knows he's good and he is getting a little too cocky for my taste!
LOl that crying in the other episode was lame. I was surprised because i thought that Diana's outfit this time was really good and i am wondering what the judges scored here. I will agree with the winning one though because that was awsome.
Santino is really annoying me because he thinks he is going to win every round and then pretty much cries off screen over his loss. He also does it for everyone else to see like in last episode as he walked past cloie( sorry for misspelling) saying they only didnt want me to win two in a row or whatever it was. I thought that was rude.

I agree! Santino is really acting like a jerk! His design was okay, but it wasn't the best one out there. And he his comment on episode 2 about not being chosen the winner was apauling. He really is quite a jerk.

I kinda liked it and thought it would work on a doll. However, I really didn't like Nick's colors. Got too close to Lupe's schitzophrenia of colors (way too busy she usually is). I like pastels, I confess, so I loved Santino's work, much like I loved Austin's Grammy dress. Santino has got to learn to let go of wanting to win. Sure, I would have felt upset to lose. I HATE to lose at anything. But he should be a good sport about it, too, not sulk in the corner. Sulk in the bathroom later, grumble to yourself or to your family/close pals. It's just bad form to do it where anyone, esp. a camera, sees you. Obviously, I see his point, but not his ungraciousness. Congratulate the guy who won, even if it's not your bag. You might even learn something about what made the other person win.

They cut away when he was told that he could leave the runway, he was walking towards his right and then all the sudden the give a cutaway shot making a sass mouth straight on at the camera.
THEN, they show him in the corner saying he can't believe this sh*t.

His dress was good, real good. Nick's was better for that particular challenge. It looked like a scrumdilliumptious pack of Zebra Stripe.
I want you to watch that 2nd episode when it comes on again when Santino says "They just didn't want to give me two in a row." Watch his face when he is "saying" that. He actually is laughing or smiling putting his arm around her. Unless he is a ventruiloquist on the side?

Ya I totally i agree the crying on the last episode was way over the top and then tonight with his little coniption fit of how he thinks of individuality and stuff..that all good but this is barbie they want the barbie look! sheesh!
I like Nick and his designs and I suppose he deserved to win tonite because his design was the most "dollish", but I don't recall that being the emphasis of the challenge. I mean it had great colors, lines, structure and form, but as a human outfit it was a little too Rhoda Morgenstern.
Raymundo's outfit really did bite, but I would have sacreficed Marla. In the aggregate she's the most hurting of the bunch. Someone with Raymundo's talent deserves one get out of jail free card. Kind of like Austin and the wedding challenge last year.

I'm disappointed. Raymundo had far more potential than Marla. You just don't start out in fashion at the age of --what is she, fifty? I'm not defending Raymundo's design. It was a poor showing. His "clothes of your back" ensemble was so Lower Eat Side nightlife. I loved it. And after Marla's dyed muslin shredder fest and that half-naked Ellie May Clampett disaster, I'm hard pressed to understand how she even made to semifinals.
Chloe's look was darling and, I think, worthy of the top three. She's just got it. We'll see her at fashion week, I'm sure.

I'm starting to wonder if Santino can handle the pressure of not being first. He's good, he's used to being the best. Can he handle it if the judges don't always think he's the best? Yes, each designer HAS to think he's the best or they don't have the ego they need to create great designs. You can see it on their faces when the models walk by wearing their outfits. They LOVE seeing their designs come to life. How much of what we see happening with Santino in the next episode is because the fact that he hasn't won is eating at him and upsetting his emotional equilibrium?
Agreed!....Santino's head is about ready to pop! His talent is completely undermined by his pompous arrogance.....what a f*ckass!!

Santino only expects the best and he thinks he is the best and when he doesnt win it makes him feel like hell! Just like everyone else does when they dont win! He needs to learn to congratulate the winner and when the cameras off go have a couple cocktails and blow off some steam! LOL!
Loving Santino's designs (except I thought his leather jacket dress was gimmicky). Hating Santino. I'm afraid he's going to be a Wendy Pepper, but with talent -- which really sucks. His design tonight was good, but I thought it was clearly second best.
I've thought Nick has been under-recognized since the beginning. I love his work. And OMG I LOOOVED his Barbie dress. When & where can I get that Barbie?!?!

"Rhoda Morgenstern"! LOL! How funny! Speaking of last year... was the culprit who drew on Wendy Pepper's photo ever discovered... I think it was Austin... just food for thought.

Not What I hoped at all.
I don't know how or why Nick got to win. Barbie isn't supposed to be multi-cultural styled. Barbie represents an Americanized fashion for little girls, or in this case, a grown up teen type of Barbie. The colors I felt were really boring, possibly looking like an early 80's design, or rather just plainly, an ugly outfit.
However, the comment I made earlier stemming back about the people who wouldn't make it is still coming through as valid. After Santino and the winner, Nick, walked off stage revealed the contestents I felt, as well as the Judged felt were awful. Kara, Andrea, Raymundo, Marla.
Kara-What's up with the trashy ruffle look, were you designing for a bed? Needs to be eliminated! By the way, this girl is annyoing with her accent and her huffy puffy attitude. Just leave.
Andrea-I know you feel that your all rough and tough with your comments, but you are still a loser, and an awful visionary for a designer. Please be eliminated soon!
Marla-I actualyl liked the color, but your perspective lacks as far as designing for what was assigned. And as seen while designing, your limits will eventually eliminate you.
Raymundo--Well, the judges said it for us. Oh well. Goodbye. It looked like she was wearing a potatoe sac as a jacket. Did you grow up on the streets and capture some sort of pre-conceived fashion notion? Go back home to daddy.
My favorite designer Diana is of course still in. I liked her fabrics, as well as her design, however, I wasn't digging the boots. She's still on her way to making the gold for fashion. She seems to get her stuff done on a timely fashion, no real problems. I'd definetly want to work by her side.
Santino's dress I felt was too much of a color that isn't seen as a Barbie color. He didn't get eliminated; he needs a nice dose of Lexapro. He needs to understand that he is not number one.
As a side, I wasn'y buying the whole 'you might consider having a blonde wig' As far as I knew one didn't have to have blonde hair to be barbie. I saw my sister growing up with all sorts of different colored hair Barbie's.
Zulema-I didn't feel like her dress was teen-like at all. It looked like a dress that one would wear to a prom? Why couldn't she be penalyzed for that? I don't know, perhaps because they need a minority on the show--who knows.
I'm worried for the next challenge because there are going to have to be group designs, and I fear for good designers being paired up wit hawful one's. Let's hope that there's a way where they can be individually represented.
As a whole i'm starting to get a feel for others' sense of style.

Guadalupe-- I feel that her style is probably a little too earthy and granola; not a trendy way to be.

Yep, Jay finished second a few times (or so it seemed) but he never won, despite his wedding dress, his BR challenge and his swimsuit. All were very, very good. Santino has forgotten you don't have to win every week. Since there is no immunity, what's the point here?

Sure, Raymundo's dress was not his best work, but it was certainly better than the "puffy pants" mess that Andre created. And, Marla? She admitted herself that she doesn't know how to sew...what is she even doing there??? In any case, Raymundo has a lot of talent and will no doubt go places in the fashion world. We will miss you Raymundo...

Ok, some one, any one... explain to me why Santino's dresses are so great. They remind me VERY much of Wendy's wet ball of yarn from last season. Untailored, unhemmed, and everwhere. I do not see why he's getting praise at -all-. He's never been in the last three in my mind, but he's never been in the first three. Then again I'm not a judge now am I? But please, there were soooo many good designs out there that didn't look so threadbare.

I agree "coolkittycrazy", Marla's did seem like something a prostitute would wear. But sad thing is, I think all of them are really good designers, even the ones that already been eliminated. They all have made some workable designs, although not all have been the best. I think overall, a more capable bunch than last season.

Andre is totally not with it. He should spend more time focusing on his designs rather then being a drama man. Santino is way too stuck on himself and his attitude will hinder his continued performance through the upcoming challenges.

I loved today's episode but I wish Daniel F. would start hurrying up. I love his dresses. I would definalty buy one if I had the change because they are simply gorgeous, BUT he takes to long. What was that shuffle about?

I agree that Austin should have won or at least have stayed in the last 3. I feel we all should rate the designs on the website and not give people like Santino credit for his drama, so we don't have to spend time talking about his antics.

I loved today's episode but I wish Daniel F. would start hurrying up. I love his dresses. I would definalty buy one if I had the change because they are simply gorgeous, BUT he takes to long. What was that shuffle about?
I also wish they would show Emmett a little more. I think he's intresting, but I guess I don't think the same as many people
I really liked the winner though. When I was little I would by his Barbie in a heartbeat.

I am Emmett's cheerleader. They don't show enough of him indeed. Perhaps the conventional wisdom on the show is that he is reserved and not flashy or flamish or whatever for him to get the camera's lens. Shame.
