What did you think about this "Romeo & Juliet" couple? Are you or were you ever in a relationship like this? Discuss it all here!

Shame, shame...who let Maria attend her wedding in a gorgeous dress with the shoulders PINNED??
Surely you could have found someone in NYC to alter the shoulders for her---should have taken 30 minutes or less to get her gown fixed up right.

is there a way to find out the color used in their place. I see on the product guide it is Benjamin Moore, but I would love to have the color name/number. Thanks

Does anyone know the song that was playing when David and Maria cut the cake? I really enjoyed it but can't find it or mention of it anywhere. The credits were shrunk and squeezed so I couldn't read what the title of the song was.

"Love is a game
Don't go wishing your life away
Love is a game
Games should be fun"

It was something like that.

Thanks!

Yes! Please, somebody supply the name of that song, as well as the one played when she danced with her father. I was reduced to tears. And I wish somebody would post the full vows here! I've been trying to write my own for my upcoming wedding, and parts of theirs really struck me... of course, I wasn't able to remember them long enough to write them down!

What a GREAT episode... what a GREAT show!!!!!

Interesting show - I've lived in a (self-made) religion-free zone for so long that it was kind of shocking to see people who are that rabid about it. To the point of David's mom saying she didn't know if she could accept their (as yet non-existent) baby being baptized. I'm like, "ummmmm.... won't it be THEIR baby? Since when do you have anything to do with that???" And how sad that Maria kept saying his mom hates her! I know she was mostly kidding, but still. The parents did seem to accept the surprise wedding very gracefully, though.

I did have quite a shock right off when Maria said her parents names were Tony and Clara. My ex-inlaws, also Italian, also Catholic, were named Tony and Clara. She looked enough like my ex-sister-in-laws to be one, too.

I had my doubts about using that BlowOut guy (shameless promotion), but he was pleasant and non-obtrusive. And did a really good job with her hair.

Carson having his foot cut off was hysterical. I had to watch that several times.

Next week... a bachelor party??? Oh, um.... yay.

I didn't even notice that - obviously, I'm no seamstress! it was a gorgeous dress. A really fun surprise wedding dress, I though.

Maria's enthusiastic response to Thom's decorating make-over was heartwarming. Seems like we've seen a few lukewarm reactions recently although I believe you can't always tell how a person is really feeling just by their exterior reaction. Still...snaps to Maria for letting it all hang out. The Fab 5 even had to join in! One of the guys commented that Maria looked most happy when she's with David and I think that observation was spot on. They're a really sweet couple and it looked like their families are well on their way to being totally cooperative and understanding. Mazel tov!

I thought this was a very interesting episode as I am in the same situation! I missed a little bit of the end of the episode, where the 5 were going through some of the wedding fashion. Does anyone remember where the black negligee with the boy shorts and stockings came from? My fiancee loved and I wanted to get it for her (and me!)?

Thanks

*shudder* I actually couldn't watch that part because it looked so real at some points. And I tend to pass out at the sight of a drop of blood.

That said, I really did enjoy this episode, it showed alot more of the real life conflicts that come with weddings. Most aren't magical, happy fairy tales from start to finish. Although, I did think the parents were a bit intrusive, even if they didn't mean to be. As my mom said, "they're in their twenties, why do they need their parents' approval for everything?" I, too, thought the hoopla over the mon-existent grandchildren was a bit extreme, after all, it's THEIR child.

When I first heard that Johnathan Antin was going to make an appearance, I shuddered. And while I still don't think he was really necessary, at least his part was small and bearable.

Loved Ted taking the parents out food-tasting. I think it really showed that two different religions and cultures CAN find common ground. And poor Jai freaking out in the loft was hysterical.

The song is called "Love is Game Two can Play" by Nice Man and the Bad Boys. Difficult to find as they are a UK concept group by Frances MacDonald (formerly of Teenage Fan Club). You can download for .99 at

The song played while the bride and her father were dancing is called "Daddy's Little Girl". It's a very common song to have played at weddings and if you're hiring a band, they probably know it. I was getting teary eyed too!

It was a great episode and a great solution for those two.

Nobody has brought up one of the most important parts though -- who are David's HOT friends, and how do we see more of them!?

I agree - but does anyone know who the designer of the hot pink dress she wore to the wedding is or where it was purchased??? I LOVE it and am getting married soon, the dress would be perfect for a few events.
Thanks!

Or does anyone know how to email the Queer Eye staff at Bravo?

Can anyone help me out as well? I haven't seen the episode but I was told that there was this olive green La Perla piece that was to die for, can anyone please point it out to me?
Thanks so very much!

Cheers,
Samuel
