Hi, Deke! Welcome to the boards!

You can ask fashion questions on either the Viewer Hints and Tips thread, or the General Comments thread. See you around!

I'm not sure what this means. Latin keeper??

But I liked this episode - more like the fun slobby ones of yore. Ferrets! A cat!! Eeeek at the tarantula, though. I could barely look at the TV when it was in view. Did they ever show the scorpions? Hopefully they were locked up somewhere.

I wonder if Beth was having second thoughts about moving in. She wasn't bowled over, although she seemed to be making an effort to be gracious. I think second thoughts would be in order - move in with three guys and a sea of things that can kill you????

That's my quick take. I need to watch it again as the Duke-Carolina game was on and it's of UTMOST IMPORTANCE to my husband so he kept switching back and forth.

I think they mean it in terms of "he's a keeper!"....like when someone is worth keeping. Does that explain it?

I love that Thom is as disenchanted with spiders as I am. And how cute was Kyan's new Boston Terrier, Louie? I agree that Carlos' girlfriend didn't seem too thrilled....about anything really. Carlos' mother seems like she's going to be a force to be reckoned with. Let's hope they can make a good relationship out of their common bond.....their love for Carlos. Note to Carlos: I think I have that same problem...too much space between my nose and my upper lip, but I never thought of it as looking like a primate. (Wish you hadn't put that thought in my head.)

OH - HE'S a keeper - duh!!! I kept thinking, he's somebody who keeps Latin?? How do you keep Latin? And then getting into that whole dead language thing. Obviously I need to get out more.

Louie was SO cute. I guess that wasn't his new puppy at the reveal where everyone had pets. That must have been one of Jai's little dogs. I thought it was odd that everyone seems to have Yorkies, although they're so cute even I want one now and I've never had a small dog.

I'd be very afraid if I were Beth. (Actually, I AM Beth - that's my realworld name and it was very disconcerting to have everyone saying it the entire show!) The Mom seemed terribly nice but BOY he's still anchored to the apron strings. And even though he was very emphatic that he wasn't expecting Beth to take over for his mom, you have to wonder what will really happen.

Oddly, I didn't expect Carlos to look better without the facial hair -and I am NO fan of facial hair - but he really looked fantastic. Not like a primate at ALL! It's terrible the things people can make you think about yourself that aren't even true. One of my cousins was self-conscious about her nose for years because her older sister told her she had a pig-nose. It's a little turned up at the end. She was in college before she realized that she and her sister have EXACTLY the same nose.

Highlight: Thom squirting Ted with the hose. Good times.

I just remembered another one of my favorite parts....when Kyan expressed sadness over Louie outgrowing the puppy breath stage! As you can see by my personal info to the left, I love puppy breath....in fact, my car's license plate holder says "I Love Puppy Breath".

Sorry this is going to be so short...

Ummmmm.... I missed the model epi w/Tyson. ...BBB? Did y'all forget that you regularly schedule QE for 10pm Eastern, 9pm Central?
SIGH

THANK YOU TO BRAVO FOR NOT "SQUISHING" THE OPENING THIS LAST TUESDAY!

I loved the show and deeply appreciated getting to see Carson involved in a little "introspection" questioning while driving. I do SO love the inter-personal aspect of the show.

The "Animal House" reminded me of my sister's apartment, so I cringed at the thought of that poor girl living in all that mahem... and it did seem like she felt like a bit of an outsider... but as for the wonderful make-better of the apartment, the back yard, grooming, culinary work and wardrobe.... CUDOS AGAIN DEAR GENTLEMEN FIVE!

Peace to you all pets! And Happy Valentine's Day next Tuesday.

Hey De! They didn't show the model-guy episode at all, weirdly enough. At one time it was scheduled at 6 the same night as Carlos, but they changed the schedule at some point. Last time I looked, it's scheduled with two OTHER new episodes on the 28th. It could have changed - I haven't looked since last week.

Which brings me to a question that probably ought to be in the general comments question, but I'm already here -

Is the revamp of this site causing problems for other people to access? My home computer has a LOT of trouble with it, since I have miserable dial-up at home. And I had to download stuff that made me nervous to get into the site at all. So I end up only checking it at work, which is difficult as I'm usually too busy to play. I've noticed hardly anyone is posting, and a few people on Carson's site said they can't get on here anymore. I'm wondering if that's a lot of the problem.

Replying to myself like a loon:

They do have three new ones scheduled for the 28th - the model-guy at the bizarre hour of 4 pm, Jeff B at the also bizarre hour of 6, and Ryan V at the normal 10:00 hour. There has been buzz that this is due to sweeps week (and if the buzz was on here, sorry - like I said, I don't have much luck checking this site at home and forget what I read where).

And while I'm whining, I REALLY hate the redesign of the schedule page. I found it hard enough before to get just one show's schedule, and now it's incredibly annoying. You have to figure out that to get a show you have to click "shows" and they appear in the little cloud, but if you click schedule you go to the schedule, and it's the daily schedule, so then you have to go to the little "search" cloud and mess around with THAT. It really should NOT be that difficult. It should be MUCH more intuitive. I should be allowed to rule the world!!!

I haven't had any problems with the board & didn't have to download anything new. *shrugs*

Just FYI, you can get to the QE schedule from the QE main page (click on the b&w 'queer eye' logo on the top left) just by clicking on 'Complete Schedule' on the left (underneath the little pic of them on bikes). At least, I have the board bookmarked, not the mainsite, and that's what I do when I want to check the schedule just for this show. But in general the search and drop down (except it doesn't) 'shows' part of the top toolbar are insanity-inducing.

Onto something nicer: PUPPIES! Or just one. Was my baby very cute? Oh, I can't wait to see that. He's so crazy. Was he being good, or was he being ADD? He's still sweet no matter how he's behaving. Incidentally, Louis is a french bulldog, not a boston terrier, although they do look awfully similiar.

Also, I would not wear a ferret around my neck. Just sayin'.

You know, I'd seen that and thought it was just the complete schedule for podcasts. Thank you! That's helped my irritation level enormously. I always had the same problem with the West Wing page too, when I'd try to figure out what episode they were showing when. It's even MORE insanity-producing, believe it or not, because there are a zillion seasons with a zillion shows each. And they seem to just sling the episodes into the schedule with reckless abandon, paying no mind to the actual order.

Louis was SUCH a cute puppy! And he appeared to be behaving very well. He was wiggly and squirmy, but not misbehaving. Are french bulldogs smaller than boston terriers? One of my neighbors when I was a kid had a boston terrier, and I thought Louis seemed like an awfully large one. I think he was bigger than the very creatively-named Spot I used to know, and Spot was full grown.

I thought it was funny that Thom mentioned how bad the ferrets smelled, yet everyone was wearing a ferret. They sure are cute, smelly or not.

Naomi, thank you for correcting my error in calling Louis a Boston Terrier. I'm embarrassed because I'm a major dog person and should have known better. In my defense, it will be easier to see the difference when Louis gets a bit older as his ears will take on more of a "bat ear" look whereas the Boston's ears are more straight up pointy (my terminology is a bit weak.....but you can see a good example of the French Bulldog if you watch Martha Stewart's show. She has one named Francesca.) Louis seemed very well behaved....my little Agatha puts up a terrible struggle when she has her nails clipped. She's a Chihuahua mix but even her big, strong male groomer has to muzzle her!
