I'm w/IhateJonathan. Swan, it's too bad your parents never taught u about ethics & old fashioned american class. U sound like u r from Whiltshire Corridor/BevHills (or wannabe). I hate to see human decency taken out of the script just for the sake of drama. I don't mind it when he gets mad & throws a jar of bad product in a back room, but when he verbally abuses & humilates staff -- that is not necessarily good leadership. It reminds me of that controversial part in the movie "Patton"; where the great General looses it with a shell-shocked soldier. I think every decent human in that theater HATED Patton at that point. BTW, JA is no Gen. Patton. He has not earned his stars, not even in hairstyling.

I kind of have the biggest crush ever on Scott, the really gay assistant. I just think he's sooooo cute and fun! Does anyone know more about him? Like where he lives, where he goes out, if he's single? Has anyone seen him out and about somewhere? I went to jonathan's a while back to buy "product" and he was working and he looks even soooo much more hot than when he was on the show. I soooo wanna meet him!!! Give me any info u can pleeease

I am a fan of this show and watched both seasons from beginning to end. However, I have to disagree with many of you on a few topics....

Jonathan is a good looking many and he KNOWS it! He's vain, self-absorbed, self-righteous and slow on the uptake. He is only personable with those staff members that he truly likes. If he doesn't like you, you don't have a chance!

He has compared his profession to being a doctor - come on! You only wish Jon! You cut hair...it's not life or death "man". And what's with the "dude", "man", "chick" monikers? I am rather tired of him referring to women as "chicks". Jon may claim he's straight as an arrow, but in my opinion, he tries WAY too hard for a straight man. Is he trying to cover for something?

What part of "selling out" does Jon not understand? His product was selling out on QVC, Sephora and other outlets. But he didn't seem to understand that 'selling out" is much different than "running out". He kept confusing the two. As hard as Bethann and Tina tried to explain it to him, Jon just couldn't grasp the concept. Too much hair product rusting your brain?

Then there's my favorite, which came from the final episode when Jon was told he was not invited to the awards ceremony. "It's my product!"...."It's my name on the product!". Ah Jonathan.....it was not YOUR design on the package. That's what the award was for! Another example of his lack of comprehension.

Last but not least....the QVC episodes. Talk about putting Jon in his place! "The product is the star...not you!", comment was priceless. Now, you may be asking, "why do you watch then?". Well, I like the many staff members. I believe they make the show. Alyn is a class act. He handled the whole screw over by Jonathan quite well (when Alyn was told he could do the hair of the celebrity who I cannot remember the name of). Alyn rearranged his WHOLE schedule and in the end, all he got was a "sorry man, it's a cutthroat business". In the end, Cesie must be quite a woman to put up with Jonathan and his ways. I applaud her!

Well put, couldn't agree more. Although I think the fact that JonJon seems always to be traveling, "doing heads" or in therapy sessions may have something to do with the longevity of that relationship. I suspect that if they actually spent any extended amount of time together Scesie would wise up pretty quick.

Went to Jonathan Salon in Beverly Hills on Saturday.. Saw Rosie there.. she's so HOT. My friend wanted to get some dirt.. but they were all out.. so I asked Rosie if they had any more (like in the back).. I saw that dude Scott and the tall blonde chick.. But I had my eye on Rosie the whole time. =)

The staff is great. All salon staff are either one or the other: family or foe. You either love who you work with or hate them. I think the staff appear to be professional while on film. I'd like to see more of what goes on behind the scenes between the staff, the everyday problems in the salon. We all know Jonothan's trying to promote his stuff big here but I'd like to see more of the small stuff we stylist's sweat about every day.

Can someone tell me what happened to Kimberly...and also Bobby. They are conspicuosly missing. I think the staff seems to be left out of the show as much this season...it's all Jonathan (too much Jonathan!). Anyway I'm really wondering about Kimberly. She seemed so talented.

I dont know what happened to Kim either. She probably quit, I think it was too much to work with him. I cant STAND Kayla? (the extention person) bringing the baby to work, her kissing up to Jon, her hair do looking like a skunk gone wrong. I really dont think her extensions are ooooh.I prefer a dye/color job as opposed to extensions UNLESS the hair is braided. I had my hair braided in an African salon for my bday and it was really cool. It was hard for them since I have "white",long and thick hair too but they did an AMAZING job for a great price.

Hi there, It seems you are the only one I could addres, I can't answer you question about the extension, I hope someone will soon. I am not a hairdresser but a nurse, I have kind of long hair and would like to address anyone of you hair stylists with a question. My hair is so straight, curls,braids perms just fall out. I am left with only pulling my hair back in a ponytail. I am always blah. Is there a product out there to prevent slickness? I hope that is not a stupid question,It's been said to me many times,"there are no stupid questions." especially if you are ignorant of hair products. Second question, where I live there will be a Sephora store openning in May. I don't usually buy Salon products, no one has ever stated what the difference is from store bought products than Salon products. If someone could tell me what the difference between Jonathans shampoo and conditioner than a store bought product, example like Pantene prov. Why is his stuff better. thanks

I think johnathon is great . I am a fingernail artist and I hand painted his foce on my fingernails. I wish there was a way to show it too him!!!!!!!!!!
