Also BB I should warn you that doing Coke can be VERY VERY dangerous I've seen people coming into the hospital where I work and it turns out their trusted neighborhood drug dealer LACED their Coke with some other nasty stuff like Crack or LSD. For me, i have a BA Degree in Business Management.
I have been a liscenced stylist for the past 40 years, i have been a colorist for Redken and a platform artist for several top manufacturers.
I have been an Educational Director for a Cosmetology school and an educator for insalon classes.
I have also owne 3 hair salons.
I would love to check Johnathans works, LOL. I could cut style, color , you name it, better than he ever will.

I began reading this board because I was interested in the series Blow Out, it's reality stars and the products associated with it.
I do not care about anyone's physical endowments, personal preferences, daily habits, etc. Not my business, nor do I want to know. There are other online sites that such information can be shared.
Can we please get back to the topic at hand and dispense with the childish behavior whether you are 13 or 93 - I DON'T CARE - I'M NOT INTERESTED - I'M NOT IMPRESSED OR REPULSED - I'M TIRED OF READING ABOUT IT. I scan the board to see if there is any new info. on Jonathan, his businesses, his stylists and former stylists and even family. I enjoyed the show. I might not ever want to work for him, but when you're going through chemotherapy and you can watch something that is totally "escape" and you watch your own hair go with the shower water, it's a help. So to all that feel they need to comment on their personal lives, think about others before doing so. Some of us simply want an escape from our daily pain.

Yes, I recall she did say that right after (boo freakin' hoo) she didn't get to go to NY with the other faster, more experienced (better!) stylists.

The Paul Mitchell Flat Iron is awsome! Try using Aquage spray shine with the flat irons you will not belive the beautiful shine you'll get it even leaves the hair in better condition smooth and silky. It is unlike any product for shine I've ever used.

Even though the PM plates get hotter they dont dammage the hair. As I said before with another post try the Aquage Spray shine with the irons it leaves the hair in awsome condition and shine. It is made to work with the irons.

It was the finale show, though. They didn't even mention her name or even act like she existed! She was (according to Jon) one of his top stylists. I'm sure it went a little deeper than she was just too busy. Who wouldn't want an hour of air time on Bravo to self promote??

As I understand it, the reunion show was a last minute (relatively speaking) addition to the schedule and was shot long after they wrapped on the regular season finale, so I wouldn't consider it out of the realm of possibility that she had another commitment already booked by that time. But as I said, I have no idea. Haven't heard anything to the contrary. But I have to ask, what "self-promotion"? As it related to the stylists that did show up (and of those few, only a handful spoke), that show was almost exclusively about singing their boss's praises and attempting to deflect the "Is Jonathan really as big an a$$hole as he appears?!?" question. Also, they were only on for a fraction of the total hour -- individually just a few seconds each -- so I'm not sure that any of them would consider that time well spent in terms of self-promotion. Jonathan promotion maybe which ultimately could benefit them, but . . . . I'm just not convinced that there has to be a drama behind Kiara not being there.

Just being seen is self promotion. You're right, though, they really didn't get to focus on themselves. There was no excitement with them either. I think that's what was wrong with this past season. The first season concentrated more on the idividual stylists & their lives. That made it much more interesting. This season focused more on Jonathon.

I totally agree! That's EXACTLY what was wrong with this season. Jonathon's great & all, but, he needs to let go of some of the limelight and share. The salon consists of so many different personalities & talents that need to be seen.

I suppose you're right about just being seen, but since that particular episode did not in any way showcase the skills and abilities of the stylists I still am skeptical that there was much value in it for them in the long run. I do totally agree that season 2 was pretty much all-Jonothan-all-the-time as compared to the first season and the show suffered for it. They could take some advice from the QVC teacher who clearly wondered who the hell J thought he was with his sunglasses on and his feet on the table and his cocky attitude and told him point blank that he was not the star, the product was the star and to get over himself. I would say the same comment applies to the show. The show is the product and the product needs a little less talk about the packaging (Jonathan) and a little more about what's in the bottle (the staff and stylists that keep those places running on a daily basis).

I guess I cannot start a post on my own. I tried.
All I can say is, this guy DID IT! I have looked for YEARS for a natural hair care line. Trust me, they are terrible. Additionally, I did not want the product to be tested on Animals. Once I got the information that Jonathan Products were not tested on animals (which I was pretty sure since it was Vegan) I ordered just in time for my latest cut and color.
His line is incredible.
The show? Didn't really watch. Surfing and heard a sound byte about a new hair line product and stopped......still did not watch but checked in time to time until I knew the release date and purchased. (Look, I can barely stand the people at the salon I work at.....
Now this is rediculous. This post proves how tired I am. I don't work at a salon and never have. I meant to say "I can barely stand the people at the salon I GO TO.."
So, I hit edit.....and I have past the time to edit and had to post to myself to correct a post no one is reading anyway.

How come your so tired baby? I hope it is from doin something fun. Like being kept up all night in the bedroom gettin it on. Im into that mama. maybe we could talk sometime and get to know one another. I like to do it doggy.
